To be fair they are the best, Quieter and leak water the least, and its the only color that came in all 1 color.

i havent seen that one in person but it has been shopped around for awhile. it has been on craigslist before and has been posted at a local rover mechanics shop. anchorage is a tough sell probably due to the small market size. i know of an all white d-90 with far fewer miles and in excellent shape that went for 29K not too long ago so i think this one may wait a while.

A friend of mine runs a land rover / range rover specialty repair shop. Based on his experience, they are capable of stopping anywhere, anytime, at any cost.

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

Finally people are waking up to these awesome appreciating and practical classic vehicles ... I'm greatful that I managed to pick mine up in advance of the serious collectors. Mine is soon to have a 300tdi at which point I'll have to setup crowd control measures before going anywhere ...
