'95 Defender 90

Wife's pregnant so my old baby is for sale. I mistreated her but only because I knew she could take it, body panels are cheap, and that's what she was made for. Plus she looks so pretty now that she's been around the block!

Details:
Red, street able trail rig showing 100,3xx on the clock, but actual is more like 75k. Difference is due to the gears and tires
4.75 cryoed gears with chromoly inner shafts and heavy duty outers in the front
4.73 Salisbury rear end from a defender 110 (Dana 60)
Great Basin Rovers ultra low range transfer case gears (this cost me $3k!)
37x12.50x15 Goodyear MTRs (only 20% left) on Allied REAL beadlocks (set of 5)
Safari Gard front suspension with Rock Ware hoops and long travel ranchos
Custom 3 link rear with wishbone center link and Fox coilovers by Rock Ware
Rock Ware rock sliders, bumpers, and skid plates
Warn 9500 lbs winch with rope
Tom woods driveshafts
ARB air lockers front and rear
Fully welded cage that mimics the stock cage and goes to the frame in 6 places
Tuffy console and tool box
Mastercraft restraints
New clutch less than 5k miles ago (disc, plate, bearing, slave cylinder)
Lots of stickers and a kickin stereo!

If there's no interest here I'll be ebaying it.
If you have $22k I'll trade ya for your money. I have the title.

Here are some older pics, I'll take some and add. My idiot friend drove the passenger side front into the only rock capable of damaging my truck at about 1 mph on his birthday a couple of years ago up on 21 Rd, so I'll get some good pics of that, the suspension, tires, etc. for now though, GLORY!

I don't think you meant for that to be read quite that way.

It most certainly is Yousef's old truck! After driving it here from Denver it has stayed local aside from one trip to Moab. Normally I ride a motorcycle and only use the Rover if I need four wheels, but neither the Defender nor a motorcycle is very good for carrying babies (so I'm told).
And forgive me, the suspension and other work is by Keith at Rovertracks, not rockware. It was late when I wrote the first post.
PMs checked and replied to.

New Matsercraft seats and restraints going in as soon as they arrive. Pictures will go up then, and based on the interest level here, the truck will be on colorado4x4.org and pirate4x4.com for a couple of days before its on eBay.

Seats are here and in. Spent the evening trying to bend the smashed RH wing panels into the basic shape they're supposed to be and debating if I want to spend the time getting new stuff shipped just so I can sell her. I'm thinking no. At $22k if having straight panels is important the buyer can buy all new panels and have an Aspen-mobile by forking out four grand to rovers north.

good luck w/ the sale. i'm shopping for a built D, but unfortunately have seen too many posted pics and vids from Yousef, who always seemed to be attempting to kill this poor girl... that said, this 90 has definitely NOT lived a sheltered, pavement/mall-trip life. your price is reasonable, Jacob.

Thanks, snosrfr - I think. Glad to hear I rescued her in time to save her life! I never saw what you did, but have seen plenty of trails and good times through her windscreen and will definitely miss her when she's gone. Not to say that I didn't ask a lot from her, she just always did everything I asked. I made it all the way through 21 road in this truck without winching. Just awesome.

UPDATE: Auction reserve is $19,000. If you can show up here by Friday with cash I will take $20,000

I can pick you up at the airport so you can drive home. Local terminal is GJT.

Back on ebay. No reserve. $16K starting price. I guess if no one wants it for this cheap I'll cancel my new one and sell my bike to buy the body panels and stock axles to put this truck back to stock condition. That's when they're worth $35k right? When the upgrades are gone? Maybe some advice would be nice here. I can't understand why no one wants a Defender 90 in perfect mechanical condition for under 20 grand, even with dents.

The truck is awesome the way it is... To maximize your value, replace some of the panels, so it is more presentable. Most people would want a badass truck with a few bruises, that could serve multiple purposes. Your's presents itself as a dedicated trail truck. Most of us face severe trail closure in our areas, so a dedicated trail truck becomes an expensive toy that gets used a few times per year.

Good to know you're keeping it! I would have rocked it for 16, but i'm at a different price point with my Series III.

Stock is stock, so don't expect to get $35k by replacing some panels. You'd need the stock cage and get all stock interior and top, replace that rear axle while doing all the suspension work and likely a lot of other things. I imagine there is a buyer for your truck close to $16k if you are patient (but not trying to deter you).
