95 D-90 with a ton of extras

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_1921wt_1786

This has a 5-Speed manual transmission… On the list of extras with this vehicle are: ******Mantec Sill Protectors $349 ******Hi-Lift Jack With Defender Adaptor & off-road base $160 ******Aluminum Checker Plate $320 ******Differential Guard $80 ******Steering Skidplate $400 ******Tuffy Front and Rear Storage Boxes $650 with East Coast Rover custom tuffy box spacers ******Blaupunkt Casablanca w/10 disk CD changer ******Bilsteen Extended Range Shocks ******New Breaks ******New Clutch ******New Clutch Master Cylinder ******Wheel Well Wrap, Bed liner ******Re-cored Radiator ******New Altenator ******BFGoodrich Radial TA tires ******Fiberglass Hard Top ******Soft Top ******Hitch Extention $85 for adding bike rack ******GARMIN GPS NAVIGATIONS SYSTEM ******Un-installed Stainless Steel hardware kit $499.00 ******Un-Installed 2nd Grill ******Un-Installed Running Boards $400

A previous owner had no off-road experience and went off-roading… had too much fun, and tried to have the insurance company fix his mistakes and thus the Salvaged title. Aluminum body panels are expensive to replace. The paint is a beautiful Camel Trophy Yellow with Black/Grey seats, black dash. Locking Tuffy Center Console with Stereo and storage area, and locking Tuffy Rear Speaker Storage Boxes in back. The frame is straight and the MANY photos will show you the condition of the vehicle. This vehicle has been a long-time California car (just passed smog) and shows only the smallest of rust/corrosion. There is the standard rust on the door hinge screws, which I have purchased the $499 Atlantic British Hardware kit to replace all of the hardware, but have not gotten around to it. I also have the set of un-installed Running Boards that were removed to facilitate the rock sliders, but could be put back on. I have an aftermarket grill on, to allow for better cooling, but I have the stock original and will include that as well.

Its not a good thing. Dude we all know how many were made etc etc. Just give us the specifics and a price and save the how rare and capable these things are for ebay. FYI Gary I was in York Harbor yesterday.

He is kidding. Good luck with the sale but this board can be merciless on the posting on how rare it is.

Also give us a price. If you are going the ebay route it belongs in the flea market section.

Hey Dave - Good luck with the sale - don't mean to hijack a thread but what headlights do you have?

Wow, this truck sold on eBay for $12,600.

Is it just me, or does that seem low (even with a salvage title and 108k on the clock)?

I thought it was Low too when I sold it... I had hoped to get at least $15K, but the market for Defenders right now is in the toilet unless you want to wait for a couple of months. The guy got a great deal.

And certainly if you would have said in here that you wanted 15k, your chances of getting it would have increased.

The market for everything is in the toilet, and apologies like a salvage title only makes it worse. I think you did pretty well all things considered. Yes, from the buyer's standpoint, it was well bought, but you actually got a sale.
