95 Coniston D90 SW, 57k miles

FOR SALE:

1995 Defender 90, station wagon. Coniston green. 57,1xx miles.
$26,500

Spent most of its life in Montana, then a few years in Washington DC, and this past year in Vermont.

THE GOOD:
- Low miles, just over 57,100 right now. Well maintained.
- NO RUST. This is a solid truck.
- Runs very well, no issues at all.
- upgraded oil cooler lines a few years ago.
- NEW Flowmaster stainless exhaust (cost around $500)
- Rovertym weld-on diff-guards
- Newer battery, water pump, viscous clutch and fan (replaced last year)

THE BAD:
- Stock radio, but no sound comes out of the speakers. I am sure it is the radio's fault, and the buyer should upgrade the radio anyway. Boston Acoustics speakers, including some tweeters on the doors.
- Seats could use new foams.
- Some door dings and A minor dent in the passenger wing, see pic. And a minor dent on the passenger rear panel, professionally hammered out, but no bondo or anything was applied to smooth it out completely.

THE OTHER:
- No rear step bumper, removed to minimize corrosion in the the rear crossmember. It worked as the crossmember is beautiful. I can get the bumper back from the person who bought it for $350 if the buyer wants it.
- Old school steering wheel.
- Spare tire is 7.5 x 16 on a steel wheel. I did this because it is lighter and I thought it would help the rear door out in the long term.
- Door sills are not installed yet, I had rock sliders on the truck. These will be installed prior to sale.
- I have the rear inward facing seats, complete with belts and everything. These may be included with the sale, if the buyer would like them.

I have tried to be as honest as possible. This is a great Defender, with low miles. I think it is a good deal at this price, and the next owner should be very satisfied.

Traveling to Washington DC and Maine in the near future, so possible "delivery" along the route.

Thanks for looking. Be gentle!

Greg

Yep, that is the reason I am selling my 90, the "new" 110. Never thought I would sell it, but there is only enough room for 2, maybe 3 Land Rovers in the garage now.

Why is there a soft top belt rail on the rear tub?
Are the cloth seats original (do you have the correct cloth seats)?

The belt rail is there because it spent a few years of its life as a soft top. Then it was "converted" back to the station wagon with all of its original parts.

These are the seats that came with the truck when I bought it 3+ years ago. I assume they are original.

Thanks for the interest.

Greg

Forgot to mention it has a stainless fuel tank skid plate, and wing top and bonnet protectors.

I wrote down the wrong VIN. It should be VIN: SALDX3281SA976621.

Also, price reduced to $25,900, firm.

Greg -

a bit off topic, but, where abouts in MT...from your name I am guessing the Bozone? aka Bozeman?
Have you spent time there? I spent a summer out there, and have many good friends who still live or frequent the zone today..

Nice truck.. Are you looking to sell quick?

Hey Belz,

My nickname in high-school was "Boz" because of my last name. It has stuck ever since. Never been to Bozeman tho'. I hear it is great, so I should take a trip up there sometime.

I am hoping for a quick sale, I think I have it priced very nicely. I know the buyer will be very satisfied.
