94 Defender 90 POE with A/C $16,000

I just purchased a 94 D90 POE Station Wagon with 115k to build into my next offroad toy. Since purchase I have located another truck (with diesel!!) that I am going to buy instead so this one has to go quick. It is the original conniston green and has a great frame and bulkhead with no rust issues at all on them. The bad spots on this truck are the roof and hood have some hail or acorn damage and both doors and the upper tailgate have some rust that would need to be repaired. The driver door also has a deep dent that needs to be properly filled. The truck has a/c and the interior and body are in good shape aside from the above issues. Engine runs great and has an r380 that shifts perfectly. Please email me with questions. Pics coming soon.

Truck is located in NC
$16,000

Chuck, FYI that isn't a POE. That's a Euopean spec Defender.

Sorry Chuck and others; I spoke too soon. You've got two different trucks on that page.

Joel, POE is a Port of Entry Defender. I think LR brought them in as pick-up trucks to save some customs fees then converted them to SW at the dealer before sale. It was a cheap way of testing the SW market here in the US.

The first four are of the POE. POE means port of entry. "47 1994 Soft Tops were converted to prototype Station Wagon models. Reportedly at least 37 were Coniston Green, 2 Arles Blue and 1 Alpine White. All 47 have VINs between (and including) RA939334 and RA945393. In January 2002 "

These have a hard top with a lift gate instead of a SW door and came with ST doors. They also don't have the full cage or interior trim in the back from what I remember.

You are correct. This one also has every option that was available: Half headliner, a/c, and the rear seat.

I've been harassing this guy all day trying to get him to trade me a stack of cash and my boat or jeep for his LR.

(Sigh)

Ha... Harassing might be a strong word. Although trying to get me to trade for a jeep might be pushing it!

I knew that was pushing it. HA! I don't usually even admit on this forum that I have a jeep! At least I made a decent offer, normally my offers are so low it's borderline insulting!!

The boat is cool though. It's a 13 foot speedboat, seats two people and looks like an offshore racer! I got that for a crazy lowball offer!!
