'94 D90 with 76k and 300tdi/ZF for sale

Asking $28.5k OBO

The good:
One owner truck purchased new from the dealership in 1994. This truck has never seen snow or salt, and has no rust on chassis or body. 76k miles on the truck, and 25k on engine, transmission, and transfer case. 300tdi/ZF/Transfer were installed at 60k. Driveline had 19k at time of install. The driveline has been modified with front and rear ARBís, 4.10 KAM gears, CV Unlimited front shafts and RoverTracks rear shafts. Front winch bumper and rear corner protectors by ORS, belly pan, frame sliders, pinion protector and rear shock hoops by Rockware. Tie rod protector and rear trailing arms were made by SafariGard. Locking Tuffy center console, and rear tool box containing tdi spares. The truck has a new Badger top. The BFG 255-85 KM1ís have less than 5k miles on them. The front axle was just rebuilt with new seals and repacked bearings. All tie rod ends were just replaced and a Rovertym stainless drag link was installed.
The bad:
Front outer wings are dented. I have new replacement wing panels that will go with the truck. I have all the parts to install AC, but it has not been done yet.

you know I think you are crazy for selling your rig. Having said that, one will be hard pressed to find someone who takes as good care of their vehicles as Jim C does one owner no less.

You forgot the steering wheel upgrade.

Actually forgot a few upgrades. If anyone were to get serious, they would have to spend a few hours going over the truck.

Wow, it sux to see you selling this. At least the buyer will be sure this is a first-class job. I see you location is in the doghouse, so maybe that's why you're selling?

I doubt it will go in this economy, but the sale would finance the build of a new project truck. I did a custom build for a friend and have been thinking of doing one for myself since then.

Runs and shifts fine. EGT's are 750 on level ground, and fuel economy is a realistic 22 to 24 mpg. Timing belt was just changed and IP was just tuned for performance.

------ Follow up post added July 3rd, 2010 08:34 PM ------

To all who are interested, we are headed to Montana in the morning. Cell coverage will be spotty and no internet access. Returning late Friday.

Cheers, and happy 100th birthday to Glacier NP.

Jim....

You might try eBay too. The prices look much higher than you are asking and there are currently no 300 Tdis offered

Damn.
Can't believe you're selling it.

I won't have a chance to drive it again.

Say it ain't so. I like this truck and as others have said Jim is some what of a perfectionist. Great truck for a very reasonable price.

I think it is actually from the Off Road Shop in Texas; I don't believe they are made any more...I'm sure Jim will chime in.

He's not kidding when he says that!

Sorry to hear you're selling her Jim. You and that truck have a lot of history together. Sure you don't want to take her back to Colorado for one last "Hoorah!"?
