Jim you can use this as a deposit on that Florida investment you've always wanted, now if I cold only sell one of my Florida properties. I'd be back in the Defender market, yours would be at the top of the list.

Hi Mark,

Just back from Montana. I'm not sure I ever wanted an investment property in Florida, but I'm sure I want one in Montana after spending a week there.

My uncle has a place in Whitefish, MT. Not far from Glacier. Its by far one of the most beautiful places you will ever visit. Hopefully you made it to Waterton, Canada too. Absolutely stunning. The scariest day of my life was when I ran into a grizzly bear in the back country at Twin Falls in Glacier. Eye to eye at 12 feet with a grizzly is not a good situation. Ill have to find and scan the picture.

Good luck with the sale and glad to hear you liked your trip.

I was at a birthday party for one of my son's friends and his father was telling me a very similar story about running into a grizzly somewhere up in that neck of the woods. He said the same thing as you; although, he just happened to have a rifle with him and got in a lucky shot. Now the bear is in his garage.

Love the Grizzly. It's a shame it's stored in a garage.

On another note, there are those who are questioning my install quality on this truck. I am hear to tell you that this driveline was a matched factory unit from a '99 Disco 1, so engine/transmission/transfer mating was a no brainer (i.e. it was done in the factory you fawks!) Mounts and install template came directly from the zen-master, and welding was done by me.

Good luck trying to reproduce it.

I have driven and been under the hood of this truck. It is a top notch D90.

Fawk it. I'll put the thing on eBay. It's bound to be better appreciated there.

Yeah, I don't understand it either. Why would I want to try to sell it to the guy who offered $1500 over what you did?

Best thing about this truck is how "right" it looks, I cant believe anyone would try and make a big deal over the install. If I could, I would buy it and the rest of you could eat shit. I wouldnt even fix the dents!

Good math. You must be a product of our public school system here in the Carolinas.

It is a nice truck but as for the install I know there are many schools of thought on this but I am a purist and I am not knocking your work at all but it isn't like this is a factory option to have a auto diesel so for some people there are questions. How it all works together, what you did for the exhaust, do the glow plug lights work, etc, etc. It is a very nice truck for a specific audience.

Yeah, thanks for the vote of confidence Barry. I saw your bashing on the other thread. What's the matter, didn't you get enough press there? Gotta love the armchair quarterbacking.

I am not bashing your truck at all. I commented on the other truck and it is apples to oranges not that your truck wasn't good.
