94 D90 Soft Top with additional SW Conversion

Trying this again....

1994 Defender 90 #342 Soft Top with station wagon conversion kit. - $27,000 OR BEST OFFER - VIN# SALDV2285RA935063

Great running truck. Tons of upgrades and a hard top station wagon kit for cold months.

The mods from when I bought it are noted first. Since owning her I have invested a great deal in money in parts and in personal, as well as paid labor. Work completed and new parts noted below. All work was performed by Expedition Autoworks: http://www.expeditionautoworks.com/ and I have all receipts. The truck is highway drivable, fun, runs great, and is an exceptionally reliable D90. This truck makes both a formidable offroad vehicle or a fun in-town driver.

LIST OF MODS FROM ORIGINAL PO:
Great Basin HD Axles
ARB Air Lockers f/r
Southdown axle skid plate Rear
Double Carbon Drives Shafts f/r
Rovetym Trailing arms, upper rear kingpin mount, front radius arms, hd steering arms, 3 inch springs
Extended brake lines
HD aluminum fuel tank guard
Rover Accessories aux side mount fuel tank 9.5 gal
5 Nato rims
Rear spring isolators

ARB Front Bumper
HD Air Compressor with Quick-Connect

Fiberglass Hard Top
Tickford Soft top - This top was in tatters and had to be thrown out

CB Radio
WingTop Protectors
Aux Fuel Tank

NEW PARTS ADDED:
Rear Mud Flaps
Bonnet Protection
Mud UK Bonnet Hinges
LED Rear Tail Lights
MUD UK Consol/Rocker-Switches
Halogen Headlights
New BFG 265/70/16 x 5
New Stereo with Ipod Connection/ Door Speakers and Rear Speakers
New Rubber Shift/ Parking Brake Boots
New EFI Computer
Most Easily and Many Difficult to Access Hardware Replaced
Rear Load Mat
BestTop Soft-Top 8-10 (all window totally clear)
Full Station Wagon - conversion kit includes station wagon roll up window doors, metal hard top, metal van sides with sliding windows, station wagon rear door with heated window, full station wagon safety cage, and associated bits.

RECENT WORK COMPLETED:
Dynamatting of complete seatboxes, footwells, and the sides of the cargo bed
Carpeting on seat boxes to beginning of cargo bed.
Battery box has been sanded, cleaned, painted with anti-rust primer, dynamatted, and fitted to hold a second battery (second battery and cross-over not installed)
New Alpine White Paint: $2500
Seat Re-Trim Exmore Grey Vinyl with Seat Heaters
New Drivers Side Floor (welded in)
New Manifold Gaskets
New Brakes, Rotors, Pads F/R
Propeller Shafts Rebuilt F/R
Pre-Filter with Custom Foam Filter located inside snorkel (Taking out the K&N filter along with about 6 of hose from the engine compartment really opened up the power of this beast and probably add a little to the fuel economy)
Seat Risers
Rear Speaker Boxes with Speakers
New Fuel Pump and Filter Replaced

Full Disclosure:
The truck was in a low speed collision with an immovable object and slightly bent the frame on the front drivers side. The frame was straightened and aligned and now you would never know it happened driving it. The only telltale sign is a bit of downward slant in the ARB bumper from right to left. The speedo cable is broken and the exact mileage is unknown. I have put on around 5000 miles since I have been the owner. The previous owner indicated that the truck had around 100-110k miles on the frame but the motor and drivetrain had been rebuilt somewhere in there making the motor/ drivetrain mileage somewhat less.

If you would like to see something specific, I would be happy to snap some more pics this weekend.

I'm confused - did you sell the soft top cage and are selling it as a hard top or is it currently a soft top with the full NAS ST cage and you are also including all of the bits to convert it to a SW?

I remember you having the ST cage for sale just not sure if it ever actually happened.

This truck has tops, cages, doors, and bits to create a D90 Soft Top with a Best Top, a D90 soft top with a Fiberglass Top, and a D90 Station Wagon. Vehicle will come with all three set-ups.

Just sent you a PM....thanks.

------ Follow up post added October 7th, 2012 10:21 PM ------

sorry to be a pain but just double double checking that your truck has A/C as i could not see the usual switches in the middle on the bottom vents in your pictures.

Thanks again.

Donald
