94 D90, cheap

I have too many toys and need to clean out the garage, so my least favorite one goes.

I bought it from the gentleman who bought it new, it has 101K miles and the LT77. It drives and shifts well, but I have not driven it at speed on a public road. I got this one as a project vehicle, with the grand scheme of making a 110 pickup- but I have lost interest and money. I have only had this truck for about two weeks. It does have some body damage as seen in the pictures. It definetly needs a new fuel tank cradle- the one on it is rusted very badly. It does not have a back seat, nor does it have the holes drilled for the brackets. It does have a console, not original and not installed. No radio, no speakers- see the interior in the pictures. I can include a stock unbent 94 bumper and grille guard that I pulled off my other 94, if anyone wants it with this truck. It did not have the rear roll cage section with it, I think it may have been a fastback version because of this.

It is not perfect, but with some work it could be. It would make a great starter 90, or a great platform for a buildup.
I am asking $15,000 or best offer. This will be put on ebay in a week or so if it doesn't sell here.

PM any questions or to set up a time to see it.

Now this looks like a rover that was worked! (or ex mod!) like it!

Sell it to a farmer and make the ol rov happy.

good luck w/ the sale!

rope up that gas tank if you plan on driving it, a full 15 gallons of fuel is a bit of weight and it looks like your skidplate is about to go!!!!

Trae, can you post a pick of under the hood, specifically what the engine block looks like. Does it overheat at all?

thanks

Yes, I don't know why I didn't take a picture under the hood to start with. I have to post it tomorrow though- my camera downloads from my printer at work. It does not have AC.

It has not overheated when idling or driving, I'll take it out of the garage tonight and run it for an hour or so to verify.

I will give you 10k. At that price I could build a 110 reasonably and I do like the 94 style fastback top. Most of those are junk by now.

Actually it is almost exactly like the green 94 I already have (bought that one and sorted it out, just like the red 94 I had a couple years ago). I am trying to get rid of the one I have like yours, but mine is less rusty/worn and has AC/rear seat/full cage/R380, but is 2500 more money.

Seriously though this would make a great 110 build base. New frame, new rear body tub (I see her as a 110 regular pickup with the fastback and NAS style pass through rear bulkhead), a respray in conniston and a few odds and ends. Sell off the leftovers and ready to roll.

Good luck with the sale!

Ron

230GE. Mainly I thought about the things I could do to this new beast and then thought "why didn't I do that to the rover I have".

I really don't want to sell anything seperate, but I do need to get rid of this toy so I may consider other options after ebay has been exhausted.

Pendy- Your offer intrigues me and I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

Now you know I was just following Ron's lowball offer with some sarcasm. You will come out alright on this.

But if you want to adopt me and sell it to me on the cheap I won't just flip it for a few bucks. I could use a driver and rough does not bother me. I got a 5cyl merc diesel for you if your new truck needs it.

Take Care
JP

Don't worry I'll do something to change your mind about that at some point.
