Getting closer . . . take some pics of the footwells under the mats and the rear crossmember and where the transmission crossmember mounts to the frame.

What is missing other than the door trim? Does it still have the spare tire carrier and a spare tire?

pictures will be up tomorrow that you have requested.

Spare tire and carrier are still attached to the truck- the wheels on the ground are AT's while the spare is a MT.

I'll come up to 9750.00 now. Could you get the truck a little dirtier looking so you could justify selling it to me for less. Maybe go have some fun with it before you give it away.

I wish I could sell it to you... but not at that price!

I'll take it out of the garage and clean it up this weekend to get her pretty for Ebay.
I also forgot I promised pics until reading this post.

Wipe some light oil on the rust to help hide it for your ebay pics. And leave the paint dull but clean to help hide the dents.

As someone who has bought things on Ebay that have had their condition misrepresented.. and subsequently been very disappointed, and which made my projects twice as laborious, and which generally gave me a bad taste for humanity. PLEASE dont try to hide the actual condition of your D-90 (oil on rust etc..) Clean it up, yes of course, but tell no fibs.

For the sake of the rover nut who buys the thing!!

shame shame Pendy..

Shame shame indeed. If I can't have it cheap, then let someone else pay to much for it on ebay. This is what always happens to me when I buy there. So pass on the love.

I hear your pain. Fibs are in the eye of the beholder.

I tried to be honest about the condition to the people who I know care and would spot something if I didn't mention it- this group. The last thing I want to do is have someone agree to buy it and then see it in person and call me a liar and not go through with the transaction.

So, Jaguiler, email sent.

How about the bulkhead and other rust pics?

evilfij at yahoo dot com

FYI I doubt that thing sells for even 13k on ebay. YMMV, but no full top, no AC, dented, interior shot, etc. People are looking for a cheap D90 on ebay but they want it to look presentable from the outside.

shoot me some pics of like the floor board, underside and back inside by the fuel tank of the rear x-member, and the frame where the tranny cross member mounts.

While you are at it some decent interior pics would be nice too.

I took a look at the truck on Sunday - while the interior could use some sprucing up - the engine sounded and felt solid - granted we only took it down the street and I was unfamiliar (not having a D90 now) with the vehicle.... I have rebuilt rust buckets in the past ... and I can tell you that the parts of the frame I saw had mostly surface rust if any at all.... the major parts seemed very sound - minus the fuel tank skid - which was already explained.

I would have glady purchased it at the price..... and been happy about it....
but my wife kindly reminded me we are expecting twins and investing heavily in our business. So I have to wait a little while first.

Eitherway - I think it is a great truck for someone that is looking to have a fixer upper - just needs a little TLC.

My experience comes from being a DIY'er and home garage mech. all my life..... rebuilt a rusted CJ7 about 10 years ago as well..... so I am familiar with projects.....

Thanks for the outside opinion John, sorry the timing is off for you.

Ron- I continually forgot to take the pictures, and I'm sorry for that. I will do it tonight and post tonight.
