That's a pretty truck, the price seems fair, Park City must have gotten a hell of a deal on it. A/C too!

That's a nice one. I'm still in the market for a British Racing Green 97 ST.

Whoa! I just need $1 from 30,000 people, I have $865. This ST is the one for me. Geez, I know this one will be gone before I can get the money together.

Just to nit-pick a little:
ECR doesn't sell SS brake hoses (brake pipes maybe?)
and
Land Rover never offered leather seats in the NAS 90s

I thought that the '94 Beluga Black 90's had leather from the factory.

http://209.85.207.104/search?q=cache...&client=safari

From LRFAQ:

In 1994 there were only 100 Beluga Black models all had leather Seats, A-Bar, Running Boards, rear seat and surrey top as standard features

OK, guess I'm wrong.

I have 5 Black 94 90s on the lot today and out those and all of the ones I've seen and worked on I've never seen leather. Guess I have never seen a "limited black 90" and LRs own count for the NAS 90s doesn't list that car.

Ya learn something new every day.

All of the 100 1994 black D-90s had leather. Most also came with the stainless A-bar and running boards. They were pretty late production if I recall correctly. Only seen one other black leather rear bench seat though.

the brake lines were expedition exchange. Truck looks awesome and is a steal at that price. Clearly, a lot of work and $$ has gone into since I had it.

I barely recognized her since it is more of a stock configuration than when I owned her.

Best of luck with the sale. If I could, I would buy it back.

Cheers!

PS Originally from PA so I dont think they skipped the east coast.
PPS The brake pipes (not hoses) were the stainless steel ECR ones.

Nope, not "All".

I have 2 Black 1994s on the lot today that have the standard vinyl seats, no A bars (and no holes were they would have been), etc.

There clearly was a limited Black model, but there were at least a few Black 94s at least that didn't get the "limited edition" treatment.

I should learn to stop saying "they never made" because it they "never made" a factory Arizona Blue D90 in 1994 either and I have one of those cars here today too.

Just went outside to check, and we have 2 94s and the rest of the Black ones are later ones... I knew they were Black, but thought they were all 94s.

"but there were at least a few Black 94s at least that didn't get the "limited edition" treatment"

They all shipped with leather (to my knowledge and I have seen maybe 10 of them), however, according to a note in the registry, only 80 shipped with leather. MOst (but not all) I have seen have or had the A-bar and running boards. Also, a disproportionate number seem to have had the fibregalss top as well.

http://www.fourfold.org/LR_FAQ/Defen...T.db.1501.html

It seems more likely that the leather was replaced with vinyl sometime in its life rather than being shipped that way due to the leatehr wearing out--which is made somewhat less likely by the existance of two of them, but who knows?

On the other front "everyone" knows about the "hella" edition trucks (one off Java Green, Laser Red, Orange and Arizona Blue) but there is also a rioja red 1997 SW and I believe one more one off color one can find in the registry.

One of the Black 94s at the shop is a 22K mile unit from the original owner. Vinyl is stock 94 (denim with black sides) and is not an Exmoor or other re-trim. I'll email the customer and ask if he ever had the seats re-done, but sure looks original to me.

It does not have an A bar, no evidence of one ever being on the bumper.
It does have a fiberglass top though, but no rear bench seat.

The other Black 94 is a beater with high miles and anything could have been changed.

I had a black 94 Se with stainless running boards, a bar, and leather seats and a/c. It also had a r380 so these were late 94's.

without a doubt... the first NAS D90 i ever saw (fall of 1994 on the Little Creek Naval base in, VA) or rode in had leather from the factory. That rig was the beginning of the end for me. it was indeed black with black leather.

This is the way most of them came in my experience. I know not all of them had the A-bar, running boards , but most seemed to. All are in the production date range where they would have had the R380.

Now as far as Mike's two black trucks w/o leather . . . anything is possible.

Ron

PS everyone please forgive my curiousity on this matter. Parkcity, good luck with the sale, she looks sharp!

Jeff sold it to Heath in NJ (heathbarcrunch on here) who did a lot of work on restoring it to stock and addressing any issues. I know he spared very little expensive while it came to getting great condition parts to put on it. I've heard that he got another D90.
