94 Defender $21,000.

Would also consider it a partial trade toward a 110.

Found and Bought 110,$21k for solid D90

Found and bought my 110. D 90 still for sale at $21,000.00. Very solid truck that runs and drives better than most 90's I have seen with half the miles.

I dont mind the talk back and forth on a thread. It keeps it bumped up and for a sale item that is great. I have not really taken any offers because I am firm on the price.
Thanks, Mike

I was promised first right of refusal to purchase this vehicle. Within one day, that promise was broken. Mr. Steil has his reasons, and I don't think he is a bad person... but do be mindful that in this case, Mr. Steil did not do what he said he would do.

I don't know the man, so I can't say if he's a good person or a bad person. I just know that my experience with him was not positive. Just food for thought for anyone who cares.

No offense, but this thing has been for sale since the beginning of Feb. It seems like everyone has had a fair shot at it. I don't know what he promised you, but I know that personally I wouldn't hold it for anyone without a deposit! Just my opinion, don't jump down my throat anyone!

The first thing I have to say is Holtwebb is right. I did offer him first right on the truck. What I want to say is I have had my truck for sale since early Febuary. I have been in contact with Mr. Webb for about two maybe three weeks. The truck has been available to view and purchase at anytime since it was posted. Many phone calls with Mr. Webb and his shop never produced a firm date to even view the truck. For all I know he is just one of about the ten guys(flippers) who call me ever week trying to low ball me(I do not think this to be true but who knows). A local buyer showed up with cash in the amount I was asking and I sold him the vehicle. I do not want a bad reputation on this board but I did what I did and I will live with it. I suspect most of you would do the same as I did. Bottom line, truck for sale since Feb., no deposit given but I did sell without telling Holtwebb another buyer was interested. It was to hard to pass up $21k cash when I have been trying for over 3 months to sell. I hope any future dealings I have with other members will have an understanding of the situation I was in. Mr Webb, not that it will help but my intention was not to burn you. I wish you luck in finding your truck. Thanks, Mike

First right of refusal is a meaningless concept without either 1) knowing the guy or 2) a cash retainer. You stated that you didnt know the guy, you clearly didnt supply a deposit. This is the most worthless whine I've heard in a long time, followed up with sad attempt to besmirch someone publicly.

Actually Jim I'll have to say your wrong on this one. It's a sad day when a man's word is "meaningless". Even sadder when it is accepted as expected!

Touche! I'll accept that criticism coming from you Shane, but I cant accept the public whine when we could be dealing with a simple difference of interpretation. Its just bad form!
