85 RHD ROW 110 for sale

Hey gang, so I decided to pass my 110 to someone else. Owned it since Oct and originally bought it for a family trip last week (see mayday thread in tech discussions). Also to scratch my 110 itch.

I am still looking for my 94 NAS 90 and I figured I'll start the sale process so I'm ready just in case my original 90 shows up in the market again.

It's well sorted and runs great, just completed a 3,200 mile trip in one week. Except for the alternator failure (thanks again to the Georgia boys), the truck ran flawlessly. Averaged 28mpg on the trip with a roof top tent and loaded with stuff.

Here are the details:

1985 ROW 110 RHD
96K miles
300tdi
R380Tdi
1.4 LT230 t-case
Fairly new paint (Arles Blue i think)

Here are some of the maintenance items I did through my course of ownership and in preparation for my family trip:

New oil and filter change (will change again this weekend)
New fuel filter
New air filter
New 90W in diffs and t-case
New Redline MTL in tranny
New ujoints
New alternator
New timing belt (previous owner back summer of '12)
Brownchurch Roofrack (bought from Tallyrand)

Some goodies not installed:
Mantec style snorkel
Mantec style swing away tire carrier

Rust:
Frame has surface rust but otherwise solid (good for another 5 years or so, in my unprofessional opinion)
Bulkhead pretty solid.
Doors bottoms are pretty solid.
Front floor boards are pretty solid, passenger side is repaired with a panel.

Pics can be found on my registry and in this thread (bottom of page). Those are all glamour shots, but I will take undercarriage and door bottom pics this weekend. Let me know what area you want pics of and I will post this weekend when I take it to my friend's shop and put it on a lift.

Now for the price... The truck owes me $23k plus the minor work and partsI put on it. I will put it on flea bay for $27k but I'll let it go for $25k for a forum member. Truck runs and drives and stops as well (if not better) than most ROW 110s that I test drove when I was looking. As stated above, it recently completed a 3,200 mile trip with the only issue being the alternator, which is now brand new courtesy of David (atlcruiser) and with help from Sam (smac).

RTT not included with sale.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something, so I'll update as I remember. Hoping to find my old 94 NAS 90 ST.

Thanks for looking!

***EDIT -forgot to add, since I work for a credit union, I can help with financing.

Let me know if you want me to take care of that RTT while you track down your 90!

Better photos do sell a truck mate. You are definitely selling some good times. Would like to see what the D110 looks like especially at the A and B pillar areas. Is the chassis original, and if so are the VIN numbers legible. How is condition of rear cross, outriggers etc.
Dash configuration - is this a newer style TD5 dash or older.
Not concerned with doors, but how is electrolysis? Any bubbles on bulkhead, cappings.
Thanks.

Thanks John!

Oscar, the RTT, will sit on top of my Disco for now....

Mark, I will be taking pictures of the common areas of interest this weekend. Truck has the regular old style dash (non TD5) with the 4-spoke steering wheel.

There are some areas of electrolysis on the bottom area of the door skins but nothing major. Bulkhead does not show electrolysis.

Thanks for looking!

I will go out with the DSLR in a little bit and take better pics

Thanks for everyone's patience!

more pics from DSLR uploaded to this link.

Other highlights I would like to add:

Tires are fairly new (almost brand new) general grabber
Original frame relatively solid with the VIN etched on the frame horns that matches the VIN plate by the brake booster
Sunroof doesn't leak
Original color must have been this blue as evidence by the bulkhead engine bay color
