85 Land Rover 90 300tdi w/ galvy chassis

Clean Land Rover 90 Station Wagon on new Galvy Chassis. Motor is a recon 300tdi mated to an r380, LT230 transfer case, and td5 axles with 4 wheel disc! I have pics of the underside to show the condition of the drivetrain, it has all been reconditioned and is absolutely spotless. Truck drives really well and starts with the first turn of the key. Tires are new goodyear g90's on new steel wheels, and has a 2inch lift. Exterior has been treated with new black paint that shows well and body is very straight. Interior is also very clean with excellent cloth defender seats and new seat covers and the dash has no cracks or issues. Rear is still red from original color but could easily be resolved with some rattle can. Have a set of fold up rear seats that can go with the truck, they are almost new. Floors are completely rust free, bulkhead is in great shape, and the doors have very minimal rust in a few places and are in great shape. This is a super solid truck, the only apologies are that it could use an alignment and the r380 was told to be a recon box but the second gear grinds a little like most.

Located in Raleigh, NC
Price is: $15,500

Having some camera trouble but here are a few cell pics of the interior. The seats under the covers are cloth and in very very good condition.

This looks a lot like the truck I was going to buy almost 6 months ago! Glad to see it finally made the journey.

Great looking d90.

How pricey is it to convert to convertible? Could AC be added? What kind of fuel mileage does it get?

Thanks.

Tops will vary in price depending on the source but you would probably be looking at a grand to do it. A/c can be added and fuel economy is mid 20's or better depending on driving habits.

Looks great. Any idea on how to insure a RHD in the states without using a classic car / specialty insurer? I have had trouble anytime I have called the Geico's, State Farm's, etc. When did you bring it into the states and how long have you had it?

State Farm insured my 110 when it was RHD (before I converted it). I don't think they knew it was RHD though, they didn't ask. It shouldn't make any difference.
