'84 110 five door soft top

This is a custom made 1984 Land Rover 110 five door Safari Soft Top. It started life as a five door hard top , but with custom internal/external roll cage and soft top and 2 part , 1/2 doors and side curtains it was turned into the perfect family summer Safari Rover. It has been completely Rhino Lined in both front and rear tubs, and inside all 5 doors. It has a Mazda SL35 diesel engine (that gets 25 mph at 65 mph) and a 4 speed manual transmission. It is right hand drive making it that much more uniquely British. It has a front locking Tuffy center stereo console and real security storage box. VDO gauges. Defender freestyle alloy wheels and new tires. for pricing and more info please call Joe at 203-626-1699 for more photos go here:

How about just an idea of what you're expecting $$-wise for those of us who like the truck but not currently looking to buy it?

Might be a silly question but could a regular top be put back on?

The motor was a kit done by a previous owner in the UK, has a brochure with it. I'll see if I can get 10 min to get some photos of it with the top off now that Leaf Peeping season is winding down a bit

------ Follow up post added October 12th, 2010 02:44 PM ------

The internal rear hoop cage and the external front windshield frame cage (similar to NAS design) would have to be unbolted and removed in order to put the Hard top back on. To be honest I'd rather have a quilted/ insulated soft top made up for the winter than put a hard top back on it.

Unless P&P makes different cages to suit a beach runner, NOPE, the cage I have seats in the same spot as a NAS / SD cage

so you see it too? the piece under the windshield is out a bit as well due to this. It didn't look P&P but sounds well made since it's at the frame. I have a price in mind for this truck.

It's all custom made tubing . I wish P&P had a bolt on set up to create this look it would have made life a lot easier.

Most of the cages I've seen mount to the frame.

I would like to see the truck without the canvas.

I installed a Beta Weld cage 15 or so years ago that was very similar, dropped down to the outrigger. Love the truck, just not a rhd fan- go for it Aaron.
