'83 ROW RR, selling soon!

I am almost done with my LWB project and once I start driving it, I will unfortunatly have to sell my '83...and can't keep them both as I have a third car I want to fiddle with!
It has been my daily driver for the last 8yrs and just passed a state insepction with the original 3.5.....it is injected though!

Other than country of origin....which I could never find out which one, it was originally living in Arizona and then titled in Nevada where I bought from a gentlemen in Las Vegas!

It is rust free... with very minor areas of surface rust around the frame and body areas! I waxoyled it as soon as it got to Jersey!

If I could I would restore it back to original....unless I hit the lotto that ain't happenin!

I will post some more details about it...but if anybody has any ?? I'll be glad to answer them!

The older picture I found on a forum somewhere when it was I guess at the last owners house in the west, I recognised it rite away...because of the dent around the rite/rear door handle!
I am assuming in that pic it was still carburated because the last owner used the lucas injection out of a '91... which he also used the white roof off of, and that pic it still shows the green one!
I have plenty of pics!

BTW, the uk pic is a random pic I found of what it must have looked like come out of the factory...that 1 ofcource is RHD!

Ahhh! Thanks Jeff, Look at that.....now we have the history on the roof!

I agree.....wouldn't it be easier to shoot some paint!

And yes, when I got it... I had to move the Hella 550's from the headlight location to the center of the brush bar and replace them with a pair of legal H4's!

I will list an asking price when I know I can deliver....I'm not rushing it, because i'm still waiting on some suspension parts to finish my '93! Once its drivable I can swap the tags and it will be ready to go!

However, I am taking offers.....reasonable ofcource!

BTW, since I asked to make offers.....I must mention the items that I am NOT selling with the RR, unless it reflects on the price!

1) I'm keeping the Yokohama's...will replace with the tires that were on my LWB! Pictured!
Series steelies stay with RR! Need at least another $500 if you want the Yoko's!

2) I've already swapped the RTE stainless drag link!

3) Military style D-rings!

4) Rear diff guard! Front diff gaurd STAYS because part of it is welded to the top of the diff.

5) And roof rack!

Ok.....so I am pretty much done with my LWB project so I'll be listing some details on the '83 for sale!
I have swapped wheels and tires with it...like I said, and I will be updating some of the pics!

Asking $3000.

I don't know the true miles, the title actually says 186,000...i don't even think thats right! When I got it speedo it said 56,000, it must have been changed from Km to miles at one point, so! I knew what I was getting and it didn't bother me none!

Original 3.5l, with the fuel injection out of a '91! (I do not have any of the carb. parts)
Original Chrysler Torque Flite 3spd. trans (aka the rock crusher)!
Original LT230
No issues with any! Its going to need a service soon.....oil and tune-up!

TC and axles have HD synthetic!

What needs to be done....however it still has been operating flawlessly!
Rear links need to be rebushed....I have the bushings!
Catalytic converter ( right side ) rattles at idle, its not effecting anything other than nerves!
It has has no a/c....I have some parts if yu want to rebuild system!
Front seats are covered and firm....but cloth is ripped and shot!
Rear seats are leather out of D1! Rest of interior is sparce...no headliner material or rugs! Dash not perfect but all there inc. factory extra guages ( not hooked up though)!
Springs are 2'' OME with 1'' spacers in rear....they are sagging, good for everyday use....but not offroading! However I would not esitate!

The only ECM this RR has is for the Lucas FI (in the cubby box, just like all other later RRs)!
Otherwise, absolutly everthing else is manual on this RR, there are about 8 fuses and relays all up by the battery...mainly for the FI and driving lights!

I have redone the swivles and wheel seals, engine mounts, windshield seal, frame has been waxoyled, underbody has been treated with undercoating!
All ball joints are newer...no ripped boots!
Brakes pads are recent...the solid rotors have held up amazingly well ( I guess they don't make steel like they used to), but will need to be replaced soon!
Shocks are old but still work fine, they are long travel Rancho 5000 5-way adjustable!

I know there's more, so if you have any questions....feel free!
