73 series III for sale.

original Ca. car. last owner had it for the last 6.5 yrs. a father/son project. zero rust! new parts at time of rebuid: new brake sender unit, new slave cylinder, new brake booster, new NPR stainless steel exhaust complete from down pipe back,5 brand new 16" wheels with mtr's, wheel have been powder coated. spare tire has never hit the road, new pressure plate(reman),new flywheel resurfaced and balanced, new clutch material made of special material(extremely durable) costing about 4x that of regular clutch material, new perttronix ingnition, new thermostat and temp sending unit, new uphostery(bench seats, door panels, dash, and trim), all new tie rod ends and relay unit, new rear signaling tail lens NOS Lucas, new turn signal assembly, NOS "rare" electronic heated defroster winshields with lucas switches and relays, factory fairy overdrive, re-cored radiator, new water pump, all new hoses throughout the car, custom speedometer cable,d90 side mirrors and door hinges, new rear drums, new brakes, new bushing kit for leaf springs, new spin on oil filter adapter, new zenith carb.

completely rebuilt engine with .040"bore+.040"oversized new pistons
block line-honed to -0.10"
engine balanced(crank, connecting-rods, etc. ground down to match weight perfectly.
head decked and hardened seats added
rebuilt transmission
rebuilt alternator
rebuilt stater motor
gas tank tinned

interior is extremely nice overall condition. i have a tuffy box in it currently but i do have a 3rd or middle seat that will be going back in.

all instrument are in working order. the gas guage, temp guage, speedo, oil pressure, dash lights, blinkers, horn, all work as they should.

the factory oil pressure guage was replaced. with a more accurate unit.

when the engine was rebuilt it was done right. the rear main seal was machined and converted to modern seals instead if the split seal design. so it does not leak. all the machine work was done in a portland shop very high quality work. as mentioned earlier the engine block was line-honed, the cylinders were replaced(main bearing, connecting rod bearing, cam bearings) all gasket were replaced, new valves, value guides, and rocker arm shaft. hardened value seats were also installed.

this truck was part of a trade i did with my d90. not really want i want so i am selling it. i just recv'd a clean new york state title.

guys the truck is very nice! i put my d90 front bumper on it with a bar, installed my rear tire carrier that does not go with it, maybe. and installed the tuffy box. the truck has a few new coats of land rover marine blue. oh, the hood has the tire carrier as well.

looking for $12,000 o.b.o. or land rover partial trades + cash.
