'69 Series II-a

My father -in-law is selling his completely rebuilt 88 Safari Wagon on a galv coiler chassis. He has done quite a nice job, in fact winning "most Rover looking Rover" at Uwharrie last fall. He is asking $10k. Email him at evaeli@windstream.net for more info and pics. He can also be reached at (704)624-6138.

Thanks Mark. Her is some add'l info:

Completely rebuilt classic Series 88" Safari Wagon, LHD on new galv coiler chassis with Range Rover axles from '88 Classic. Motor and tranny all rebuilt with upgrades like spin on oil filter, fuel pump, alternator, starter, etc. New clutch/pressure plate, exhaust, fuel tank and lines, brakes- DISC brakes all around, 109 master cylinder, paint, seats, headliner, Defender alloys w/ BFG Mudterrains, etc. This was a year long retirement project for my father-in-law, who is now starting another- "it's just too nice to drive it like it should be". Numerous extras include Warn 8k winch, roof rack, several sets of additional lights, lamp guards, brushbar, wing protectors, etc. Please send questions to evaeli@windstream.com ,or call (704)624-6138, as he is hopeful it will find a good home.
