'67 Land Rover Series IIa

I have for sale a pristine '67 Land Rover Series IIa body that is sitting on a custom 2"x4" built tube frame with coil over suspension. Axles are Jeep, with all new bearings/seals including new Warn floaters and lock outs. Brakes are Wilwood dual masters with discs. Steering is '67 Camero front steer with original banjo steering wheel. New wheels and tires, original gages and wiper motors.

Chassis is set up for Ford 302 V8, with AOD 4 speed trans and Dana transfer gear box. Have custom headers/exhaust and aluminum radiator.

Front fenders are new inside and out. Engine bay and trans floor are finished paneled.

Have essentially all parts to finish except for engine and transmission.

All parts are clean except for dust.

This is intended to be a resto rod meaning from outward appearances it looks dead on original except all the running gear is updated and modern.

Fun project but not enough time left to finish.

Asking $15,500 or best offer. E mail at neatwheels@gmail.com or call 803-417-9820

How are/were you going to make the Dana T-case work with the LR seat box and floor?

Dana T case install

Hello,

The engineering is done. Dummy engine/AOD trans/ AOD/Advance adaptor for Dana and Dana are there in place now installed. Dana to Advance adaptor was reclocked thus no interference.

D shaft to front jabberwockies to midship bearing then to front axle. D shaft to rear axle piece of cake.

Shift levers for Dana T need to be purchased. Dime a dozen on eBay.

There is essentially no engineering left. Some welding and paint/powdercoat of the frame. Then assembly.

Not for the feint of hart but easily finished.

My health has tanked and time is premium now.

Yes, but the Dana t case is way further back. The sticks, if mounted on the t-case, will be located under the seat box. How do you plan to move them forward where the can come up thru the floor?
