'63 109 25K miles- UNBELIEVABLE
This is the real deal. Original owner commisioned the 109 to be built, and picked it up at the factory in 1963. He and his new bride then hired a driver for a two month tour of Africa, and then had the truck shipped home to Georgia. It sat most of it's life in the barn, in fact the original top basicly disintegrated. The next owner did a minimal restoration, replacing gaskets, bushings, most rubber parts and seals. He also had a professional paint job done and brand new tires fitted. This truck is original, not hacked up, including original wiring harness ( pos. earth ), gauges, wiper motors, lights and lenses ( even an original Lucas headlamp )springs, body panels, Deluxe Bonnett, galvenized cappings, hand driven rivets, etc. The bed was swapped using period correct replacement, to allow fitment of auxillary fuel tank, which was not completed. The top ( hood ) could use replacing, but is certainly functional- just not in keeping with the condition of the truck. The truck starts, runs , and drives like new- truely unbelievable!! Inspection is welcomed and encouraged. Currently has 25,044 miles, but driven once in a while. Best to pm me- thanks, Dale $23,500.
