Have 300tdi, and proper defender r380/lt 230. Have driveshafts, gearbox x-member, etc. rad/IC combo, mounts pipework and all that. I am being told that the seatbox, floors and tunnel out of my 2.25 90 won't work. Is this true? The donor vehicle for my setup had the same floors (it was originally a 90 2.5TD, converted to 300/r380) and I have also seen a local 110 with the same floors and tunnel, though that one did not use the crossmember to mount the gearbox. I am confused. what is the deal with the later 300tdi floor, is it really necessary or not? Is there a 3rd type of floor/tunnel setup that looks like the lt77 stuff but is bigger? C'mon, tell me what I want to hear.
