300 tdi 5dr on galvanized chassis for sale outside the US

Offered for sale to anyone outside the US is this truck as pictured. Truck was denied US entry March of this year due to galvanized chassis, tdi engine, etc. The owner was not one of my clients @ that time but is now. He is considering forfeiting the truck rather than ship it back across the pond and let some one sell it there for him on consignment. My issue is that if he forfeits the truck it will be auctioned for dismantling by customs (frame and engine must be destroyed). Id rather not see that happen. The truck will ship out of Norfolk Virginia and cannot ship to Canada or Mexico directly. He's offering the truck for $22k shipped to the Uk or other destination with similar shipping cost. This is a fraction of what the truck was bought for and represents a good bargain.
Please email me with further interest. I have 20 plus photos. This is a limited time offering as Customs only gives 30 days to export and that clock is running.

If it had the original frame, could you just pull the motor and install a 3.5 and fine?

IF it had the orignal everything. As you can see it has the much later techno cloth interior, smooth roof, left hand drive conversion etc. the list why is long. Great truck for some one with a second home in Costa Rica or the Bahama's or even Canada. Shipping to almost anywhere in the world is available from Norfolk.
In order to get it out the owner has to pay a fine and storage to customs plus the outbound shipping. That's why it has to pre-sell or he's going to punt and not have to pay those costs.

Pm answered. This is all very transparent, nothing to hide here. Truck was built by Matthew Moore who formerly ran a business named MRM in the UK, business's who thrived on building defenders to order for US clients are quickly dying on the UK side while new ones are popping up on our side given the turnabout in Customs enforcement. CBP's fine and storage, and the fact the exit has to be fully bonded (read expensive) there's no meat on the bone for negotiation. The owner is of the mindset to let it go once having reviewed these costs. I'm the wrench in the works telling him no lets not let them have it. FYI the fine is 10% of what he originally paid for the truck. IE he's willing to let it go for the checks he has to write to save it and ship it out which is a mandatory part of all this otherwise Customs keeps it.
