200tdi D-90 For Sale

Nicer than many NAS D-90s, this ’84 ROW D-90 features a professionally installed Disco 200tdi and rebuilt Ashcroft LT77 gearbox (2007). I purchased the truck from board member Chuck Leimone as a SW model in 2009 and added a soft top, NAS style badging (its not a purists D-90, but I have always loved the beefy aluminum badge on the back of the NAS D-90s), refreshed paint job, new take-off front doors, like-new rear door (for hard top), new tail gate (for soft top), new exmoor seat cushions and upholstery, a new rear crossmember and waxoyl (2014), and a long list of other upgrades. I have approximately 90 pages of records (MOT, UK maintenance, US maintenance, import, etc.). Also have hard cover factory service manuals. Truck has been maintained by board member Rovertek. The 200tdi was installed in the UK in 2007 (chassis mileage was approx 145k at time of install). I was told that the 200tdi had 45k at time of install by the board member from whom I purchased the truck and the UK owner of the truck, but have no way to substantiate. Current mileage on truck is 165k… this would make current mileage on 200tdi 65k (again, I have no way to substantiate). Foot wells are solid, as is the battery box and the chassis. The bulkhead is solid with the exception of a bit of corrosion around the vent hinge. I have a new bulkhead top section repair panel (not just upper corner repair pieces). Upgraded truck to keep, but I have contracted asthma and need a truck with air conditioning as a result. Don’t feel adding a.c. to this truck would be the way to go. Below is a more detailed list of upgrades:
*New Borg and Beck Clutch installed (2007)
*New exhaust installed with 200tdi (2007)
*Rebuilt heavy duty starter and block heater (2014)
*New fuel tank and filler hose (2014)
*Rebuilt meridian steering box (2012)
*New electric fan and computerized controller (2013)
*Aluminum hard top with upgraded windows, new hoop set and Exmoor Deep Weave soft top.
*2009 take-off front doors and like new rear door.
*2”+ lift
*New ignition lock (2014)
*New front end parts (panhard rod ends, steering damper, steering u-joints, etc.)
*Great spec. and maintenance sheet from 2009 to date.
*Approx 90 pages of maintenance, import, and other records.
*80% on BF Goodrich 265 – 75 – R16 tires
*NAS style alloy rims.
Asking $21,000. Would consider trade for really top notch LR 2, 3 or 4. Email questions, etc.

Welcome to my world. When I had the money to spend I couldn't find a 110 hicap or a 130. My money is all tied up right now and I found two 110 hicaps for sale in the last week.
The truck for sale in this ad looks beautiful. I'm sure it will sell quickly.

I typically have s preference for the 110s. But this 90 is really, I mean reeeally nice. I could see myself with this as my 3rd Rover in the family.

Nice. If I was in the market (or had an extra garage space) I would have asked for your wire instructions 5 seconds after your post.

I want this so bad. If it was a 110, you would have the money already.

I think the color is triton green (it is a factory color, but I just can't recall if the name is triton or trident). Just putting on hard top today for prospective transfer / sale. Fortunately, I've had a couple of bites. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Ah, thanks. It looks a bit lighter than this trident green one so I was wondering if it was Keswick.
