2004 Disco SE For Sale blown head gasket 107k miles 2500 obo

Anyone looking for a cheap 2004 Disco SE? 18" Wheels, Roof Bars,Moon Roofs, Seat warmers, Tow pkg with wiring kit, mud mats front and back. I took this on trade. Customer stated he was driving and heard a noise, pulled over and had the truck towed to repair shop, not me. I spoke to the mechanic he said head gasket went and soun a bearing. Tranny good engine obviously runs rough. Good project truck.

Looking to sell it. Customer requested title from DMV so there may be a wait on title but will be included. Clean title.

What's it worth 2500 obo?

Thanks, Mark

Good plan! They bring NOTHING with a bad motor.

I didn't want to insult you but I was considering offering $750 for it as is. It just sucks trying to get a known solid motor for one - so it's too easy to be upside down in it.

Cheers
Doug

Still Avail and for sales! Changed my mind again. Found a 96 disco with 85k that I used to own, just bought it back! This one needs to go before winter or it goes in the barn for months...... I borrowed the oversized cup holders, mud mats and the truck now has silver steel wheels with 265-75-16 at tires on it.

how about $1500!! it runs and drives. I have not time to mess around with it.

And.... repaired.

Heads seem fine with pressure test and no evidence of issues after driving about 80-90 miles.

Put all new rod bearings in her (#5 was bad, and 6 maybe) and she's running great!

Like any rover it's a ticking time bomb.... but so far so good.
And like any good used car salesman she's for sale again. ha ha ha

Thanks.
Doug

Doug, glad it all worked out. Thanks for the 4 wheeler. Win-Win situation as far as I'm concerned. Cheers!

Have over 250 miles on her now. Going great.

Anyone interested I'm selling her cheap as I DO NOT NEED IT! Ha ha

Winter is coming and I need cash for the TDI build. I'd consider a swap for a good winter car like an Audi wagon but otherwise cash is king.

This is a solid truck that I've done a fair bit to motor, all fluids, cleaned and sealed the chassis, flushed cooling system, belts hoses etc.

Overall a really nice truck. $3900 seems cheap and fair. Open to sane offers of course.
Doug

And..... The circle continues - she's on her way to NJ with a happy new owner. Sold cheap - I'm happy he's happy. Moving on, err back to working on my TDI RRC.
