2003 Audi S6 wagon for sale

For real this time, the wife found a new car she wants so the beloved S6 is going to a new home.
2003 Audi S6 wagon, all wheel drive, 4.2 V8, automatic, Red with grey leather. This is my wife's car and we are the second owners. We have had the car since about 30K miles. Now has 99K miles. Dealer serviced at Morong in Falmouth, synthetic oil since we got it. Totally loaded with everything, power everything, leather, heated seats, you name it it has it (other than navigation). This wagon hauls the kids and it HAULS. It is very quick (340 hp if I recall correctly) and handles great and it even gets good mpg for a V8 all wheel drive wagon (23 mpg). Steering wheel shifters and normal automatic shift on the console. 2 sets of tires and wheels. The factory 17" set and what you see in the pix (16" alloys with Blizzak winter tires). It has a couple tiny parking lot dings, no paint work (all original paint), never in an accident, no issues. Hate to give it up because it is so dang cool. Brake rotors and pads just done (with factory Audi parts). Oil and filter just changed so new owner can get in and drive. Winter tires are new. Summer tires will need to be replaced. Offers in the high teens. Will arrange for low cost delivery in the eastern US. email me if you are interested at info at eastcoastrover.com

Thanks!

Does it, by some wild chance, have rear fold-away seats?

That isn't something Audi offered in the A6/S6 wagons

You can add the factory 3rd row seat. Our old A6 had it and it was a small bench seat that went in and out and 2 more people could face backwards in the cargo area. We never used it, I only have the 1 kid.

but to answer the question, the S6 seats 5 as it sits right now.

I'll see if the wife wants to punt our Volvo wagon and replace it with this rocket. Thanks.

Just got it inspected last week, serviced and had it aligned, as well as a couple new tie rod ends in order to get the front end 100%. It told the dealer to do whatever the car needed (I don't scrimp on the cars my wife and son are in, so it is all 100%). Mobil 1 synthetic used every 3000 miles since I have owned the car.

Yes, but they are at the shop. I can post on Monday.
The interior is perfect except for the minor wear on the carpet by the gas pedal that you can see in the picture, and some peeling of the rubber coating around the drivers power window switches.
Other than those 2 items it is 100%. no rips, no tears, no scuffs. I'm really picky about interiors. The panel above the drivers door had some wear on it so we had it replaced at the last service.

Are you seriously interested in the car?

That was the color combo for the S6 version (no other Audi had that interior). It was unique to the S6. It is a grey leather. Images attached.
The S6 is not your standard Audi A6 wagon. It has the 4.2 V8 with wider body flares, lower tighter suspension, different gauges, interior, wheel mounted shifters, etc etc.
We sold my wifes A6 wagon for this S6 and it is an amazing upgrade from the A6. IMO

an image of my wifes old A6 to compare.

Mike,

If you wanted a high performance Wagon, You should get an 83 110 and put the zulu engine in it.
http://www.landrovernet.dk/files/lan...ngineering.php

i would have expected that from someone whos got one of the most presigeous rover shops.

If I wanted a high performance wagon I'd find a way to import an Audi RS6 or a BMW 5 series M wagon.
C'mon, Land Rovers are great, but...
Other than having a cool motor swap that truck is ugly as shite. To me a Defender is to be used on and off road. Why try to make it into a fast road car. Doing that just makes it worse. It can't handle, and if you take away its off road manners with street tires and 22" rims... what good is it?? None to me.
I'm a diesel and super swamper Defender kind of guy. Those street rigs are stupid IMO.

plus, after my wife rolled my old Defender... she is not a fan of one as her daily driver. She likes nice low cars that handle well and have great safety features for the kid.

I have no idea. If I recall correctly the interior colors on the S6 were very limted, 2 colors I think. So this would be the grey selection. I don't know the details like the names of the colors on Audis, sorry.

Follow-up Post:

Google search turns up this:

http://www.cars.com/go/crp/research....=&aff=national

The exterior is called Amulet Red
The interior is called Silver leather

Only Silver and Ebony were available on the S6 Avant, no light stone.

thanks - talking to wife - distance is the issue with something (not to be mean sounding) Cheap, shipping starts to take a major chunk out of the total cost (also i have to pay 10% in WA taxes and other fees)

also not sure how serious i am right now (looking to move to the east coast soon, and shipping 5 cars gets daughting)
