I bought this truck 7 or so months ago at 79650 and it now has around 81,300 miles on the odometer. 80% of the miles I drove it were highway (to the trails), 10% trails and the other 10% are from city driving. Havent driven it more than 100 miles in the last 2-3 months. Clean Carfax. Asking $6,200. I will not part it out, or sell any accessories separately.
Selling it for a number of reasons, none of which have to do with the vehicle itself. Most of the information was taken from the previous owners ad, with more detail.
It is dented, scratched, and has surface rust (undercarriage areas, sliders, small area on roof rack, and hi lift jack). The biggest dent is on the drivers side door. I made the dent bigger at The Cove a few months ago by hugging a tree.. Rock sliders have the worst rust, but are still functional and have served me well. Overall, its a really well built truck. It has been wheeled pretty good, but that is what it was built for.
The engine runs very strong. When I got it, the transfer case was leaking. It turned out it was missing a bolt where it mates to the transmission. Problem solved. The transmission is good, but to me it feels like it sometimes hesitates slightly between gears (2-3 and 3-4). Nothing alarming, not all the time, and no surging in RPMs when shifting. Pads/Rotors are pretty much brand new, but could stand to be bled and adjusted because pedal is soft. Power steering box drips a little, but I have yet to need to add fluid. No check engine light on, or any other lights on the dashboard. Headliner sags. All electronics work as they should.
The first time I had it out (at GWNF/Shoecreek), the transmission light came on when climbing to the top of Flagpole knob (after 3hrs of highway driving). Hasnt come on since.
The second time I had it out (at the Cove) it ran hot on one of the trails we were running/rock crawling (with 90+degree heat and humidity), but no overheating. I let it cool off, continued wheeling, and proceeded to drive it home 150 miles with no problems since (500 miles of driving).
