1999 Trek Disco

This is an actual event vehicle from the 1999 Bodega Bay, CA. Land Rover dealership Trek Competition. One of roughly 12 built by Land Rover Special Vehicles Division in Solihul. 48,000 miles. Molten Orange with Special Schoffel Leather (Black leather with Indigo inserts with orange piping.) Full rubber floor covering throughout the vehicle. The original Safety Devices roof rack, Warn 9000lb winch, and Safari Gard rock sliders. This Discovery has spent most of its life in CA. There IS NO RUST ANYWHERE. Nice paint and livery. Very, very well maintained and clean. This was my actual team vehicle, and I have pictures and video of the vehicle and myself at the event. Please call or email me with any questions. (954)816-8885. $14,900.

Don't suppose you're interested in selling the rack separate, are you?

No, I wish to leave the vehicle intact. Try ebay for the rack.

I wish it was that easy to find a lowlander rack. If I had a Safety Devices Highlander (enough clearance for sunroofs), would you consider trading racks? I don't really have time to do all the legwork for that, but I have to ask anway.

Sorry Dave. My rack is original to the vehicle and has mesh flooring and three bike carriers. Would make no sense to seperate it from the vehicle.

Would be criminal to disturb the truck- even the lousy condition :-) it is in. Still tempted, but have my old G4 in route home- after a near fatal roll in Ca from the last owner...

Smile

So Dale, are you telling me you prefered a rolled over G4 edition disco, over my creampuff-real event-vehicle? You are even crazier than I thought.

Bet you got some really cool plans for it. Care to share?

Oh god that TReK gives me wood! I would love to see you add more pictures here of it.

... not to hi-jack but since Ken asked... Dale which one are you getting back?

33k mile G4 that 'had' the Hannibal- nice enough that the buyer traded a '97 red 45k mile D-90 even up for it. It was originally prepped for a client w/ full SG kit from LRLV, which I changed slightly- Greg Davis rear bumper, etc. Not sure of it's destiny til I touch/feel- single side to side rollover landing w/ the rubber side down. I would love to have bought Ken's for the same price :-), but then to have to worry over that first scratch and all....

Well Dr., it is sitting in Britrover's showroom, so give Erich a call if you want. You know how he loves to chat.
