Very nice indeed. But I already have a P38. Granted not in that nice condition.
But if I'm going to indulge myself for $40k, I'm going shopping for a Defender.

To be honest, if I didn't have one P38 already, I might be interested. But despite the low mileage, for $40K, I'd opt for the build quality of the Bentley. Inversely, the Callaway is a fun machine and it would be hard not to put 50,000 miles on it in the first few years and be left with an $8000 truck.

Nonetheless, a beautiful example of a rare edition! It may have a better chance of selling to a collector of P38's (if there are any) if it had the proper wheels on it. I agree it looks great as it is, but if it's going to sell for a showpiece price, it needs to be a complete showpiece. Just a thought and a cheap fix. Also, replace the duplicate pics with at least one of the dash with the engine actually on and a pic of the number plaque. Callaway buyers look for these in particular. Good luck and all the best!

X2. A vehicle sitting in the garage is no fun. I want to drive them.
I average 15-20k miles a year.

Looks to me like it's on air. Hopefully Armott-3 for that kind of money.

Gentleman, may I remind you...many helpful comments are followed by editorial comments...as I see a lot of this going on..and not only here...Post #2...too many getting derailed these days.
http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...ting-3572.html

The For Sale threads are not discussion threads nor a place for people to make editorial comments on the sellers listing price. While offering truthful comments to alert other forum members of a possible issue/praise of the item/seller, as well as general questions to the sellers regarding the listing, is perfectly acceptable, comments attacking the sellers price for no reason other than to heckle them for example, is not.

90% of us regulars here all know when we see an overpriced listing, we all know it wont sell in most cases here on the site at that price, so we dont need to tanks someones listing just because they are new and dont know the market like we do, or if we are bored and feel like making a post. Not too mention that its highly likely the listing is a copy/paste from their listing from the automotive classified sites and they are just trying to get the word out.

The bottom line is, an over priced truck wont move on this site unless someone has a burning desire for that particular truck especially when there is no shortage of other truck listing for people to look at and see other pricing more toward enthusiast market levels.

Just saying'

Truck has EAS, and the 18" ProLine's are on hand as well. If anyone has information regarding sales of any low mileage Callaway's from the last few years I'd be greatly appreciative. Thanks

X2 and at least one reason why some of the nicer trucks are going directly to other buyers outside the community and resold at higher prices.

Nope. I just know there are some nice trucks that would otherwise be offered here first if the climate didn't have the reputation that it seems to have outside the community.
