I'm selling a 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 #117 and I'm asking $24,000 or best offer.
It's a white SW with a front brush guard in good condition. It has approximately 180,000 miles on it. When I purchased it, the speedo/odometer (as frequently happens) wasn't working correctly so I had it replaced with another one. I was told at the time of purchase that it had 110,000 miles, not , 175,000 and I didn't do a sufficient background check on it. I was too excited to actually have a truck that I'd wanted for a decade.
When I just did the Carfax report, I'd found the mileage to be higher.
It's recently had the front calipers, rotors, and all brake pads replaced, the fuel system purged, Hella Headlamp Upgrade, K&N air filter installed, and some other service done at Green Oval here in Portland.
The brush guard and bumpers are freshly powder coated.
The driver and passenger seat bottoms are new and I have a set of OEM sheepskin seat covers for the front seats.
It's got an Alpine iDa-X100 iPod/Satellite head unit and Focal speakers.
There is some rust in the door bottoms, on the driver's front pillar, small rust spot on a seam next to a small scuff, and an old demarcation next to where the cage attaches on the driver's side. You can see all of this in the attached gallery.
I have the rear tail lamp guards - http://roversnorth.com/store/p-6232-...-defender.aspx
I also have the six piece set of anodized black diamond plate - http://www.roversnorth.com/store/p-6...-90-black.aspx
Neither of these have been installed, they are still in the box but can be installed if the buyer would like them done.
There are photos here or you can view them in higher resolution at http://client.bulbstudio.com/defender/
The Carfax report that I have just done is online in a PDF format for you to view at http://client.bulbstudio.com/CARFAX.pdf
I have it listed on Craig's list here - http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/cto/1511204550.html
I'd love to get some feedback on the price and the truck. Due to circumstances, I'm simply not in a place to keep it, much to my dismay...
