1997 NAS SW Arles Blue - 2.8tdi Auto

Selling my 13 year owned, 2.8tdi power stroke, 4 speed ZF auto, galvanized frame SW/NAS truck. VIN is SALDV3240VA121349, badge number is 2221. I will have the ebay ready shots, etc up as soon as I finish waxing/cleaning the truck. But most here know it well. Truck is completely customized and a trip/off pavement machine that handles well on the street, always turns heads and has been the most reliable vehicle I've owned (never once towed).

Mileage on the body/paint is 149K, engine has 39K miles. Engine just had a new timing belt and full gasket replacement as preventative maintenance. Body off frame and full engine work as well as all substantial work since done my Matt at Overland Engineering.

All of the body is original except the rear door (new replacement doors). No rust anywhere, never sees salt except for Winter Romp. Truck is garaged. Frame was the original frame on the truck that was blasted and hot dipped (I purchased the truck from Arizona). Doors have a few dents in the skin, body has some brush marking.

Truck needs little to nothing. AC needs recharge for the summer, the dash distribution pipe from the air box recently came undone. All maintenance up to date, could use some wiring tidying up and little things or you can enjoy it as is. My approach to maintenance is to replace, rather than rebuild, so brake calipers for instance, are new, etc. All tires are new.

Pics coming shortly, eBay listing as well. Wanted to get it here to see if there was interest. Asking $60K.

Should go without saying. Please no tire kickers or trades. If you have genuine interest, PM me or email get quick response. I don't check the forum that often.

Saddest thing I've seen all week!

This is probably one of the coolest NAS90s I've been around, it's amazing. Good luck with the sale Dave, hope you don't jump the Defender ship for good

Say it isn't so, Dave - I bought my Arles '97 specifically because yours was so awesome. It is a sad day.

I know you know this... But, everyone of us that has sold a NAS 90, regrets it. I have had my ST since 2003, and my SW from 07-10. Miss that truck every day.

Is it time to move on? or buying a 110 or going Honda?
