Is the buyer financing the purchase? If so, that maybe the issue is getting a policy for that amount of coin on a vehicle with a salvage title.

So far the excuse for not going through with the sale (i'm told) is the difficulty finding insurance.

Haggerty told him it had to be 20yrs old, its not quite there yet. Any insurance co. suggestions?

Sam, my 97 D90 is insured with Chubb for an agreed upon value of $125K. Tell the buyer find a good insurance company that represents Chubb and they will sign him up ASAP.

Tvalenti27, I'm also with Chubb at an agreed value of $100k, but I was able to get it into their classic car program which reduced the bill significantly. I had to show it was garaged and that I had other cars that would take the primary driving load, but I have no mileage limits etc.

Geez. Under $100k and cheaper than the 1987 white 110 that a forum member has on here and eBay without a galvanized frame. Hoping this sells soon!

I was asked by a guy to use my truck in a photo shoot. Has anyone here been asked to use their vehicle in a photo shoot? What is a fair $ rate for that kind of thing?

I just realized what I've been missing all this time. I noticed that all the high end Defenders for sale out there have personal name, so here it goes, I hear by name my truck.

NAME: ARLES MCBLUEY

I hope that clears things up, lol.
