Very nice looking build Sam and as always it's amazing how quickly you turn these builds around! Obviously the only thing hurting it is the branded title, but hopefully it's not too much of a deterrent to potential buyers.

Yeah, I put that out there up front in an attempt to be as transparent as possible. Usually the he scary part of a rebuilt title is that you don't know what what was actually repaired of if there is any hidden damage. All that is a non-issue in this case as you can see from the slide show I made. It shows the complete rebuild from the frame up. Technically, any vehicle that has had this level of restoration/rebuilding is supposed to be titled as rebuilt (at least in NV) but that usually doesn't happen unless there was an accident. Too bad that don't make a "restored" title.

Beautiful truck!

People get too hung up on Titles……..as long as it's legal to own and easy to register, I don't care what the title says.

GLWTS, someone will end up with a one off truck.

This is "lottery truck" - as in, if I won the lottery, this is the truck I'd buy. Immediately. Before I did anything else. Beautiful work

Personally, this is the nicest Defender I've ever driven. A lot of attention to detail went into this truck. I'm open to reasonable offers. You can call or text me at (702)379-2966. Leave a message and I'll call right back.

Here are a few pics of the restoration process. It anyone wants more info feel free to call me. You won't be disappointed. Why wait a year or more to have your dream truck built when you could be driving now? This truck is NAS and has all the emissions and evap equipment in tact making it easy to register and insure for those of us that live in smog check counties.

I re-listed it on eBay. I put the first bid at $80k to see if I can get some bites.

Sam,
What was the reason to not maintain a NAS conversion from this NAS 90? Nice work and great photos to chronicle the process.

I'm not sure if this answers your question but... With that truck (willow green one above) the body and roll cage were pretty beat up by the time I got to it. Before we all realized how rare and valuable these trucks are some folks beat on them pretty hard in off road situations (which is what they were made for of course). The end result though, is a truck that looks like hell and needs restored. As long as you're dismantling the whole thing sometimes its fun to turn it into something more than what it started out as.
