1997: Land Rover Defender 90 #123

Hey everyone, I'm going to post this up on Ebay and some other places in the next couple days. However, since I love and respect this forum so much I wanted to give you guys first crack. Email me and tell me you saw it here and you'll go to the front of the line.

DESCRIPTION:

You are looking at a 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 #123

This might possibly be one of the most rare Defenderís in the country today. This 97í Defender is legally registered here in the USA and has passed the very strict CA smog.
This truck is a 4 liter V8 and has been meticulously maintained, garage kept, covered and babied more than an actual baby.
If you are looking at this truck itís because you are aware of how Fantastic, Fun and Rare they are so I will leave that part out. This is my second Defender and Iíve learned a lot about them over the years.
Iíll tell you this is one of the great ones both mechanically and aesthetically. It has extremely low original miles on it (45,XXX) and does not have one rattle. Iíve spent over $25,000 to make this truck PERFECT and it is, so Iím in no rush to sell it.
Every addition to this truck from the custom G4 rack, to the snorkel and even the new paint has been professionally done by the same shop that has built the vehicles for ďFast and The FuriousĒ. No expense has been spared and the attention to detail shows from every angle on this D90.
Below is the list of extras and repaired items.

-New 2015 OEM 7 stage Coniston Green paint Job (original color)
-New Puma Rear Door
-New Puma Bonnet (hood)
-Custom Functional Series Snorkel
-Custom Made New Door Panels

Unique look but I like it! GLWS. This crowd doesn't need all the "rare" talk nor Fast and Furious connection btw

Was this your reaction when you bought the defender in the first place?

Not mentioned in your ad [although "rare" certainly was ], but this was a Japanese Spec D90 out of Canada, right?

Nice looking truck! Those are cool projector headlights! Is that defender profile engraved on them? Cool effect. That certainly is a "rare" way of mounting a snorkel. So where is the aerial antenna now? Nothin' but love here. ;-)

Eh I think the above was just a snarky way to see what happened to the radio antenna which is fair.

Seller should definitely disclose that odometer was once in KM then replaced, so need to know how many true KM + Miles it has (if not 45k Miles total).

Great look! I toyed with the Kahn 1948s in the 'diamond cut' finish, but went with them in the silver finish. The headlights are stupid cool! Good luck.

I had a shop legally swap the gauges so it's a true representation of how many Miles (KM) are currently on the truck. I also kept the old gauge and the paper work which says it was done legally. As far as the antenna goes, she's still in there for all your AM/FM needs.

PS: I appreciate the Snarky as much as I appreciate humping Jimmy Kimmels Desk
