Ross is VERY particular about his vehicles (some would say obsessive) and I would have absolutely no reservations about buying any car he's owned. You won't find a nicer or better maintained D-90 for sale anywhere in the country. I don't think he ought to sell it either but I know whoever winds up with this Land Rover is getting a great truck.

One of the main reasons he's selling it is that it's in too nice a condition for him to really enjoy driving it off road - he really doesn't want to beat it up - that's what Discoverys are for....

The saying goes, "I wish I were one of Ross' vehicles." It's truly a beautiful Defender.

I do not post on here much, more of a reader then a poster, but I have to say, this has to be the cleanest Defender I've ever seen. Very nice indeed.

Thanks for all of the compliments. I wish I could take all of the credit for the vehicle, but the previous owner was more persnickety about the appearance and upkeep of the vehicle than I am. He is a engineer/pilot and is about as detail oriented as anyone I have met other than myself. It is a great vehicle that has been meticulously maintained cosmetically and mechanically throughout its existence. I think this truck is going to make someone a very happy camper.

Thanks again D-90. RD

Shawn... Sorry about the bumper

Hate to see you sell that one Ross, you'll not find another that nice and unmolested when you have sellers remorse!

And you WILL have sellers remorse on this one - just talk to Rick, Ron, me, or any number of other Rover owners who have looked back and said - "shoulda kept that one..."

Persnickity is a nice term, I met him, he is a nice fellow but he is German first off and an engineer and anal retentive beyond belief. Not a bad guy at all but actually the perfect PO but really obsessive compulsive about mechanical cleanliness.

Ross, it was a hell of a job just to maintain that level of knick.
