Rear space mat
Quick release nuts
Stainless Steel Window rods
New rear seat belt female ends
Waterprrof seat covers
Rhino lining/ Line -x done by previous owner
Black Heritage Grill
Black checker plate on wing tops (Mammoth)
Front Dif Guard

I bought the truck in Sept 2009 with 49,335 miles in Sept on it so you can see in the past 2.5 years I have driven it very little. It is a third car and I want to down size our stable.

Last week I have a few things sorted out by British 4x4 specialists (formerly Rover Lab).
Installed stock steering column so I could take out the after market steering wheel and replace it with the OEM one. They replaced the rear brake pads and rotors, wheel bearings on the front driver and rear passenger wheels, replaced U-joints, and fixed an exhaust leak between the Y pipe and the exhuast manifold. Trevor and Keith are great mechanics and people if you are looking for a reputable shop. I actually took this offroad for the first time behind Trevor's workshop and had a blast.

Additional items that come with the truck that are not installed:
OEM roof rack/cross bars
Snorkel
Badger half tonneau
Best Top Surrey
Fiberglass hard top (located in MD)
Tuffy tool boxes with speakers for the rear
Bonnet checker plate (Mammoth)
What ever else you see in the pictures.

Was having trouble uploading pics directly to D90 the source so you can check them out instead at the above link.

The truck runs and looks great. The rear cross member and floor pans are solid. There are however a few corrosion spots on the driver and passenger door skins which I took photos of. If you want a shot of something specific let me know.

Rob

Looks good - I'm not sure I've seen that much tint on a D90 ST before, but I kind of like all the black bits you've put on it. If you consider selling the snorkel and/or tuffy tuffy tool boxes you got from Wolf separately let me know.

Thanks Josh, will keep that in mind.

Forgot to mention that the D90 also comes with a car cover for it and the side mirrors have been swapped out for an upgraded version that provides better visibility. I forgot the brand name, but they were a huge improvement.

Nice low mileage truck. I like the black alloy wheels. What are they?
I upgraded my mirrors too. Big improvement. I can actually see what's behind me now. The brand is likely Britax.
Good luck with the sale.

Good luck with the sale, Rob...used to enjoy having your truck sitting next to mine at HH (even though yours looked better!)

Thanks Jeff. I enjoyed the 2 or 3 HH I attended. Unfortunately the Navy keeps moving me every 18 months, but so far I am enjoying PA.

SOLD. Not sure if it was because of D90 the Source or Autotrader, but nonetheless it is now gone.

This has to be one of the strangest car transactions I have been a part of.

I received a call from Dave in NYC, and he said he saw it for sale on D-90 The Source. He wants to buy and offers me a little below asking, so I accept. He then tells me he is going out of the country and his cousin Lance (Luxsport.com) will handle the transaction so Dave can avoid registration fees/taxes. At this point I became a little concerned. Sight unseen he wants to buy it and now he is out of the country and someone else is on the bill of sale. From my perspective I am just selling the car to Lance....those two can work it out.

I received the bank wire today that Cousin Lance executed on behalf of Dave (wink). I confirmed with my bank and everything went through without a hitch. The transport truck with my D90 just left my house and the paper work I signed stated the Defender was headed to Law Auto Sport/Group in IL.

At this point I have my money and the defender is gone, but the way this transaction went down seemed real shady. I thought for sure by the end of this I would be dealing with a Kenyan prince who wanted my help to move his family fortune to USA, my friend.

Just wanted to share this weird experience and perhaps this Defender will show up somewhere for sale in IL by the end of the week.

If Dave turns out to be real and joins this Defender community and reads this post, then I wish him luck and I hope he enjoys the truck as much as I did. Or perhaps the new owner in IL or wherever will stumble across this post when something inevitably breaks down the road.

------ Follow up post added May 21st, 2012 08:22 PM ------

Yep, Law Auto Group has it listed for sale $46,900

Pics coming soon!!!

Damnit. If I had known this before hadn I wouldn't have loaded all the extras inside...badger tonneau, snorkel, tuffy boxes, etc.
Sorry Josh....but you are resourceful, I bet you can call them and try to buy the extra stuff you wanted.

I actually do have the bonnet diamond plate from mammoth in black, a used metal piece that attaches to the bottom of the soft top rear window, and a used zf auto tranny with bell housing that came out of the truck in 2009.

I also have a photo copied shop manual and wiring diagram as well as the fiberglass top. I will take some pics and post in the for sale section, but if are interested let me know.

I was actually happy/relieved to see it go. Now I have to keep on the look out for something else.

Yes, the car cover went too.

It even comes with "cooling hoses" and "quick release nuts". And they even throw in some of them "power steering pump lines".

Looks like it's in Ann Arbor, MI now - new owner is already stirring the pot with the Jeep folks. Saw this while Googling for info on trailer wiring adapters of all things. haha.

Ha - I said how I found it! It was one of the results in Google Images when I was trying to confirm which trailer wiring socket I have.
