We are moving and I am mid project on rebuilding a 1997 NAS D90 SW. It was a one owner from southern states. I bought it with salvage title due to frame damage. It has 87,000 miles. All work done to date has been done by a profession body shop. Instead of pulling the frame, I had a new Rovers North galvanized frame swapped in. Engine was pulled and inspected, found to be strong and unharmed.
I am including over $13000 in parts sourced from many places:
-Galvanized Frame- Rovers North
-Shocks/Towers/Springs- Atlantic British
-TO Wings/Bonnet/Grill Panel/Vent/Fan- Safari HP
-New Wing Panels/Wing Tops/Fender Assem/Head buckets/Shroud/Oil Cooler- Safari HP
-New Windscreen/Light set- Safari HP
-Misc Brackets/bushings/parts- LandRoverPartsCheap
-and probably more
The body is back on the frame needing one more pull on the pass front corner, then reassembly can begin. There are no doubt a few little parts that are missing and many I have neglected to say that are included. The rest of the body/paint/glass etc is very nice and should not need to be touched.
It obviously cannot be driven and will need to be trailered. It is located in Janesville, WI 53545.
The VIN is SALDV324XVA101500. It is stamped No. 0023. Con Green with twill vinyl.
It will come with a salvage vehicle title from WI, but with a new frame and all, I would not be ashamed to own, drive, and enjoy the finished product.
