Check with Randy Williams. Last I heard he was driving down and towing his truck. Not sure how big his trailer is or if it will hold two. Maybe for the right price you guys could borrow Dana's trailer.

Looks like Dan posted it back up for sale yesterday, if anyone liked the truck. Still one of my favorites. Looks like maybe a bottle opener was added.

I am selling my 1997 Defender 90 Station Wagon. Paint is original arles blue, no body work, all original. The 97 is the rarest as it is the only one to come with both factory automatic and factory AC. A must for california. Includes 5 255 85 16 BFG tires, very rare safety devices external cage (only a few stateside), new interior to include reupholstered corbeau seats, new rear bench, badger coach works carpets, new factory floor mats, new wheel flares (factory). Includes safarigard front bumper, sliders, new mantec rear swing out tire carrier, much better than stock. Diff gards, safarigard 3 link suspension etc. It is loaded and is a texas/california vehicle so bulkhead and chassis is in great condition. Recently resealed front vent covers, door seal, no mechanical issues. This is the cheapest i have seen on the web for this vehicle vintage year in a non rotted condition. 150k ish. I drive this daily and have for a year. Never left me stranded and recently drove from texas to california in this last year for 5 days straight with out a hickup. Priced to sell. This is a Tahoe ski bums dream. Another baby on the way....Defender 110 next. Email with questions. I am available this weekend and plan to have sold over the next week. First with serious offer takes it home. Title in hand.

Yes, it is for sale. What the add does not state is a I also have a Dassler built 5.0 for this beast. This may or may not be included in the sale. Contemplating keeping it for a 110, I went through the truck and fixed many of the issues which were not originally listed when I purchased it. New interior, carrier, fixed all the holes in the body work and or covered them etc, electrical etc. Looks like i may have a buyer already.

Wow that would be fast! What's a Dassler 5.0? Cursious. Also, what holes in the body work...the ad says "no body work, all original"

No body work, but swiss cheese rear tub from 3 different tire carriers,i made the square mount with bottle opener to plug 8 of these holes etc. Rob Dassler at Southwest Rover does a custom 5.0 out of a 4.0/4.6 rover block. Huge rods, shortened stacks etc. vroooom. I just talked myself into keeping this. I was going to drop in to this 90 but now I am on the hunt for a 83-85 110.

Yes. The new motor goes with the defender uninstalled for asking price as I have my eye on a 110 diesel. If I have the motor installed the price will go up substantially.

Still for sale

Well it looks like I still have a shot at a 110 I have been tracking.
I will include 4.11 thirds/trutracs, gbr rear axles, and the rob dassler 5.0
I believe only two of these motors in existence. 32k firm for everything and the motor is not even broken in yet and currently on a pallet. Happy to return the 90 to a more stock configuration for the purist. Deduct 2k for installed aftermarket gear. Pm for details and questions.
