D-90 for sale

Jeff - This is the same truck you test drove in Annapolis. You referred me to this site. Do you want me to get an estimate to have it painted green? I'll give you a $2k discount and you can have it painted.

Regards, Jim

I recognized the truck but my comment was more for everyone else on the list. The folks on this forum like to see lots of pics!

I'm still good with the truck I am getting but thanks for the offer. Good luck with the sale and for anyone interested in Jim's truck, please feel free to email/PM me as I did visit the truck and take it for a test drive

Jeff has a pretty good point - if you have many pictures available, post 'em. It will help.

That said, Jeff can you share your thoughts on this truck?
(I am in the market)

Why would anyone paint an Arles Blue truck green!
Sorry my po, it's one of my favorite Defender colors.

Wouldn't dream of doing it Keith!

Jim's truck overall is in good condition and runs solid, especially for being over 100K miles. Looks like a number of parts are pretty new including tires, springs and shocks and stainless exhaust. The inside of the truck was clean with no signs of real damage or abuse. The underseat boxes were also in good shape. There are some paint bubbles, mainly along the quarter panel on the drivers side and at the rear driver's corner and some fading on the wing panels along with a small dent in the passenger door. Looks like a little bit of rust is creeping in on the rear crossmember and tank guard but doesn't look like it needs a full replacement, just a little attention.

Driving the truck it seemed to have a little more body roll in corners at speed than the other 90's I have driven but I would attribute this to the fact that it was a SW and I have only driven ST trucks. I don't claim to be a D90 expert but these are my opinions and encourage anyone in the market for a SW to take a look at Jim's.
