1996 Land Rover Discovery

hi all,

1996 Land Rover Discovery (i think its an SD with leather)
http://picasaweb.google.com/copleymo...eat=directlink#
i just took this in trade on a d-90. i have not driven it, i am NOT servicing it. it runs, it drives, it does NOT stop (needs brakes badly) the heat is hot as h3ll. some rust, some corrosion, lady driven, looks pretty darn nice for having: 237k miles!!! (not a misprint) i have NO service records so please dont ask when "it" was done or replaced. thanks. =)

$2,800.00

regards,
keith at copley

Not being facetious here, but is that price a misprint?

I hope I don't get banned for this, but you added a zero to the price I think.

LOL.. Yeah, take a zero out of the price and thats about what a 96 disco with bad brakes and 237K on it is worth.

Sorry I dont like bagging on someones price but I couldnt resist.

Damn, I have a 96 DI 7 seater with perfect cloth seats (waterproof seat covers always on), 3" lift, 285/75/16 BFG ATs, +2 shocks with rear lowered shock brackets, no sunroofs and manual seats (less electrical problems), brand new rotors, calipers and pads, everything works and I can't even get $1,000.

165k miles

Maybe I should bring it to you guys in Boston.

John,

Is this truck white? I think we went offroad with about 10 trucks a few years back in Western Mass. I had an almost identical truck to yours.

God strike me down, but I may be interested in your truck. PM me if you get a chance.

Thanks,

Mark

With all due respect, how could you possibly know that? I'm sure John will be fair in the order he gets back to people.

Seats for this Disco

Hi,

To whomever picks up this Disco, I have a set of newly covered Bahama Beige seats (fr & rr) that should fit it (from 1995 RRC). New heating elements as well.

$350, and you can pick them up within 20mi of the truck.
