I'm figured it was a trade or bought at auction. I feel bad for the guy if he paid more than 15.

I am in the market for a defender. I have been on the discoweb board the past few years and I just sold my 94 disco. I'm just trying to tell you that I know this truck, it's from long island and my friend is the one who sold it to him. Oh and BTW.....he paid more than $15k

My 94 is a beach truck and it's a hell of a lot cleaner than that with 70k...

LOL, the fact that you didn't buy your buddy's truck, speaks volumes!

I pm'd him... he never answered back....

I don't know about you guys, but I like it.... perfect trail truck / run about / restore project when the cash is available. Of course I would not pay over $14k for it either...... sounds like he paid too much for it...

too bad, I would have liked to seen this truck, I'm pretty close to his area too.....

oh well, still looking for a project truck like this in the future.... (at the right price, and the right time)

I love it when noobs post on here like we are a bunch of idiots.

As I use to ask stockbrokers when they use to call me to sell their ideas: "If it is such a good investment why are you selling it"? "Keep it and you can quit working".
