I have had numerous replys with the famous, do you want what I have with some cash or, I will take it, let me sell what i have and i will take yours, and do you know of anyone that can finance it for me.

With that said, the truck is still available, new things to mention, there is a RN soft top on the truck now and new Hella Vision Plus Headlamps
The price is 29.5k firm.

Warning Graphic Pics

Crazy News..........I drove the truck down to south Miami on Wednesday Afternoon.
The owner came to Fort Lauderdale to look and drive it a few weeks back. In the meantime he was looking to store the truck in a warehouse or have the city approve plans for a carport.
Things worked out and we did the deal.

I get a call today, He says you wont beleive this..........Pics are worth a thousand words

Dang, that sucks. Glad I didn't buy it. It was a nice looking truck too.

Well if that guy wants to part with some of the stuff on it let me know.

holy crap! Am I right in guessing the oil cooler line(s) broke? In one of those pictures it shows the oil trail leading up to it.

The winch and bull bar look good to me. I wonder how much.
Why do I feel like a vulture?

I am happy that some of you only think of what you think you can get off the truck.
I wonder, do you do the same when someone dies, think of what you can get for nothing or free. I paid list price for most of the stuff on the truck. You want the same things, you know safari gards website or roversnorths. Oh wait your the ones that go to outlets and TJMax. Sorry your right.

I posted the pics to show awarness to you and your oil lines, we should make a marked date to check the lines once a year.

The good news is that the owner was safe, all the damamge was done in 20 minutes. Now I am looking to get another one for him and take whats salvagable off this one on to his next one. So move along.

This is and was a freak thing, this could have happened at any time. He had been driving it only ten minutes at night in 80 degree weather . I drove it an hour in 90 degree weather on I95, then twenty minutes in traffic light intersections two days before.

Another defender lost for no reason.

Sucks for him, but you need to lighten up a little (no pun intended)

Martin,
Were the oil cooler lines ever replaced in this Defender? I have gone as far as custom braided lines oil cooler lines and replacing my power steering lines. I still can't get over that fire. It's pretty disturbing. I hope everything works out for the guy.
