1995 RRC LWB For Sale

I have decided to sell on this Classic after a couple months of ownership. It is too nice and original for me to modify so I am selling. $13,000 or best offer. I will be adding pictures of the interior tomorrow and closeup of blemishes. But I added a link so you can see the vehicle.

1995 LWB Green.
The Good:
Original Mileage 85,800 runs exceptionally well with plenty of power (relative to the 4.2)
The truck is pretty original so it has the Original air suspension.
I was going to convert to springs and have the OME springs and isolators that can go with it if the offer is good enough.
Vehicle spent time in Arkansas, Texas, Colorado and now Utah.
Range Rover rubber mats front and rear (fronts are brand new)
Most everything works - what doesn't is listed below.
New paint on bonnet and hood from fading
New headliner
It has had a lot of work done to it and I found some receipts from that work.
New Brake Accumulator
New Hatch struts
New Tie Rod ends

The Bad:
Air suspension leaks a little.
I think it may need a new steering box as it wanders and I have that on order (included at full asking - negotiable otherwise).
Passenger front door will not open from outside - I will try to get this ironed out before the sale.
One of the front aux lights is burned out.

The Usual:
Cruise doesn't work
Heated seats don't work

I will add stuff as I think of it. I will be spending time this week to take more pictures. I have some pictures saved to a "word" document that I received before I bought it. I can send those to serious parties.
Andrew

Although I am not looking for comments on the price. I do understand that $13K is a retail price and I did say "Or best offer" -better yet, lets call that "or best reasonable offer".

Thanks Chris - I cannot edit that one out so the one in the second post should work. I added pictures of the Carfax I pulled when I purchased the Range Rover.

VIN is SALHC1349SA655777

Agreed. The low mileage trucks tend to need the same time and attention as all the others.

Feedback

Thanks for the feedback guys. I always thought I would be better served trying Ebay on a truck like this. Do you think I should try selling with the leaking air suspension or go ahead and do the coils? Which do you think would pull higher bids?

Do you have time to first try it as is and if you find that it's causing you to lose a sale offer to fix or rerun it with a spring set up.

Still for sale.

I will today. Still deciding what type of auction. I was thinking no reserve, start it higher though and have a buy it now. If you are interested let me know. So everyone knows here and has first dibs - I am going to post it with an $11K buy it now. I kind of need it gone. That what I meant from previous post statement "we can work a deal". On second thought I will probably do the Buy it now at $10,500. My previous prices were thinking I would sit on it a while to see what happens. I no longer want to do that.

GLWTS. my only critique would be the pix didn't do much for me. Maybe take it to a setting that helps sell the image better. Maybe a nice country road with something decent in the background. Nondescript parking lot and reflections of you taking the pix in the image probably isn't doing the Rover any justice.

I know not a country road - quite frankly the weather has not been cooperating.

How is this? Better than the others? I took this yesterday as I thought the reflections are very distracting.

Maybe others can pipe in but I think you can easily do better perhaps when the weather breaks. Take a look at these pics as a reference. I did not take these pics but they are more along the lines of what I'm kinda trying to relay. Utah has some great backdrops I'm sure. Any ski resorts near by?

You should also attempt to fix the leaky bags (assume they are bags leaking) Ashcroft has replacements...but at that price point for a 18yo vehicle an owner will want everything to work flawlessly.
x2 on Clays point on pictures....they are what will sell it!! Find a nice BIG house where you live - take a few in front of it...then take some in a field somewhere...you know whole town & country thing

Thanks for the input guys.

I know of a nice house in a canyon not far. Bit foggy here today is the real problem. Not sure it will burn off. I also want to get it posted today. I will be including coils, plates, shock towers, and isolators for the coil conversion. Price is a little cheaper without that though. I figure I will let the new owner decide if they want to keep the air setup. I also know a guy with a lot of spare parts for the air suspension if they are interested.

I know perfect is the better way to sell but I feel the need to part with it now. Part of the issue is I overpaid. I have far more in it than I asking.
Drew
