must agree. I am not one to tell someone what their truck is worth, but you may want to look at Cirbo's post and reconsider: one owner rust free very well built 90 with a 300 Tdi/auto for $10k less. Just an observation...

As soon as this truck was listed I was waiting to see who would bag on the price. Thread should be left to asking questions about the rig and price should be sent in a PM.

not bagging the price actually, but am very familiar with Jim's truck- and Jim, who way under sells his truck and his abilities. Just a reference for the listing/selling party should he not be in sync with other listings- as I said, just an observation of the differences in the two prices, and equipment, should he be interested in moving his truck quickly. I have no dog in the fight as they say.

I actually meant to quote the post above you. Yeah the seller might want to know the audience but you never know. Good luck to him.

I'm sure I'd be labeled as jaded on this, but I don't think that these rigs are really apples to apples. Not everyone wants a Tdi. Not everyone wants a wheeled rig. (no offense at all Jim, just an observation)

new expansion complete. Not only are we the only Rover shop in Eliot Maine...now we're also the biggest.

do beg my pardon. V8 vs tdi; that debate goes on but over here its an extra 10K that's all I was saying.

Poor timing for him as Cirbos rig is no comparison and much less expensive.

two really different trucks in my opinion and hard to compare. Some people wouldn't want that tdi truck under any circumstances. With just a straight v8 change you are less likely to have a truck that is a hatchet job. Not saying the tdi one is but who knows if that auto was hooked up right or if it is set up the right way with the right style exhaust for it. Just saying you will get different people looking at both.

from what everyone is saying Cirbo knows his stuff, you can botch a V8 rebuild just as easily, and Jims rig has 40K less miles on the drivetrain which he tuned up...we could go on but were not helping this sale at all, so I will stop
