D-90 members get it for the 2500 as is. I'm trying to offload this quickly without putting much more into it,... dont know why i thought i needed another project..i dont.
please read my ebay add as it has more info)
The truck runs very well, and drives nicely. The interior is in good shape, the center console has some cracks but not horrible by any means
The wheel wells have some rust, just about each one. Some have holes, some dont, but there are areas in each with some questionable metal.
I did cut out he drivers side floorboard and weld in new 18awg steel. its sturdy. I ripped out the foam deading b/c all it was doing is holding moisture. The pass side floorboard dooesn't seem as bad, but i didn't rip that side apart. The trunk and rear floorboards are in decent to good shape. There seems to be a slight leak coming through the footwell on the drivers side, its minor. And now that that foam is gone, shouldn't be an issue b/c it wont hold the moisture. I rivited in some metal on a couple of areas that needed patching behind the pedal and by the dead pedal. I'm sure it will be fine for a good while... but please dont think this is a rust free truck from Cali.
If you want a good running in-expensive 4x4 - this is your truck.
If you want a great starting point for a project and dont mind hunting down some rust...this is your truck
If you want a pristine RRC - look elsewhere
