1995 nas d90

1995 NAS D90 ST . Original mileage appears to be in the 35-40K (documents) This is re-listed from previous thread, but never sold. This D90 was rebuilt after declared a total loss from an interior cab fire. I have spent a lot of time and money to bring this 90 back to life. The engine is the original V8 and dash as seen is changed to TD5 style with all new wiring harness, instruments, seats, steering, safety devices roll cage, steering wheel, doors, hardware, wheels, tires, exhaust, puma hood, and Land Rover santorini black factory paint match.

All detailed receipts, pictures before and after, bill of sale, and history available to the new owner.

I will entertain any reasonable offer or trades.

I like the Puma hood in black - may have to add this to future mod list for my truck.

Did you ever re-registered since the total loss declaration on the title?

Here's the AutoCheck for anyone interested.

What are you looking to get for it? What would you want in trade?

No title, just bill of sale. The original title was kept or destroyed by insurance company. I bought it from a salvage yard with bill of sale marked "parts only", prior to my extensive rebuild. This has been the road block with my local state patrol office in passing inspection. Hard to understand, since the vehicle has never been structurally damaged.

I would like some input from the members on fair value, if anyone is interested in giving me a reasonable offer.

Parts only seems pretty clear and not difficult to understand. You've done what appears to be a beautiful job on restoring something that can't be registered for the road in most locals. Given this restriction fair value unfortunately is parts only value in my opinion. Probably $5-6k would be the top end of an offer ...

You should sort out getting it registered for the road and that will help raise the value ... But although it's nicely done it's always going to have a black mark on its history and that will always effect the value.

I would buy this in a heartbeat for 5k but I would have to assume you are looking for more than that out of it.

If it is sold for parts only, it is worth significantly more than 5-6K.

Cage 3-5K
Frame 1K
body 3K
Motor 1-1.5K
R380 800
Transfer Case 400
Boost Wheels 500-600
LHD Dash 1500
Seats 400
Tires 500
Misc 5K

Boost Wheels 500-600
LHD Dash 1500
Seats 400
Tires 500
New steering wheel 3-400
Those tires look unused - maybe 700 (or $1200-1300 for the package)
Rear tire carrier 3-500
Rear step bumper 3-500
Sliders 2-500
Rear quarter protectors 150-350
KBX grill 100?
Rhinolining - Priceless

Looks like just aroung $15,000 in the parts Scott and I have listed, if you can get that for everything. Jason doesn't have a soft top so he doesn't realize the value of the cage...$6k all in would be foolish of you to accept.

This truck looks great... The title issues have to be worked out for Dave to make any money for his efforts. He could rebuild the truck into ROW truck and have a valid truck, that would be worth a good bit of money. But, that will cost both time and money. Picking up a cheap POS 86 90, with a valid title and import papers for 8 -10K or a local Series.

A NAS title is worth 6K, there should be one laying around somewhere. :-)

It is an awesome looking truck, but it also doesn't have any tops to go with it.

Probably because there's no belt rail or snaps. I don't think the no tops issue is why it's taken this long to sell.

dave would have better result if he just said how much he wanted. some people will whine / some will agree / but it will only take one to become the new owner.

Probably the only NAS around with no snaps OR rails. Needs and alpine bar, too. I hope af7151 can recoupe his effort.

Question - whatever happened to that similar NAS on ebay last year? I recall the $25,000 reserve but it did not sell. It was completely rebuilt, but not finished, blue, no top, Tdi conversion, and no title? The thread created that huge argument on the value of a Tdi conversion.
