1995 LWB $2000 OBO, has rust, but runs great

Big hole in the driver's side front floor, sills look good, rear body crossmember needs to be replaced, some work needed on the rear floor, a spot for the seat belt mount in the back, probably some other areas on the body. Frame looks good. Liftgate has no rust. 19X,XXX miles. Dent on the one rear corner. Owned by me for nearly 10 years.

Why should you buy it if it is a rust bucket, well, they all are rust buckets I am just disclosing it and ... it has a great running 4.2 and nice shifting trans. Service has been insane. Synthetic oil every 5k or less since ~35k miles, trans serviced by the book, same with diffs, t-case 30k services done etc., but you would probably want to do a fresh one just to get a baseline as it has been a few years, but not 30k since the last one. Had heads and a valve job done a couple years ago, new heater core, AC works great, newish 02s, new calipers and rotors fairly recently, borla exhaust, new switch for the heater fan, rebuilt seat ECU, 235 70 R16 pirelli scopion tires with nearly new tread, fairly recent water pump and MM alternator, new battery, ignition parts, trans cooler line, brake light switch, new accumulator, steering parts, has coil conversion with bilsteins, basically the only mechanical thing I have not fixed is the leaking steering box (I will include a non-leaking spare box) and I get an intermittent TPS check engine light (don't have a spare for that).

Perfect axle and drivetrain donor for a ROW import truck/LHD conversion as it has the disco/97 D90 style shifter for the auto and serp belt motor and you can get a bunch of money out of the borla, liftgate, seat ECU. I will also load it up with some spare rover parts including all the suff I have for RRCs (front headlight gaurds, some spares, not sure what else I have) and some other stuff (we can figure out what you want) just cause I am a nice guy. Currently in daily use by my caretaker. Looking to upgrade to newer Jag XJ8L, vanden plas or, ideally, super V8 or maybe get josh's SWB RRC so I would consider a part exchange with lots of cash coming from me.

PM me your email for pics and I will get some out this weekend.

Located where I am outside philly.

I hate you and your timing. People seriously always have good deals going when I'm living out of a hotel in-between nowhere near them or where I'm going to be living for the next few years.

The odds of it selling with my crappy marketing are low.

$1500 cash. Should really have a TPS ($189 from rock auto or cheap used one) but it runs fine without it. Found a Super V8 jag and I need the space ASAP!

Bump

It is worth $1500 in parts at least! I am giving it until October 10th and then she gets parted out (basically me grabbing the exhaust, seat ECU and most of the ignition parts and alternator) and scrapped which will be very sad for all concerned.

It has the correct parts, but you need the brackets and the new inner axles to do the swap. The way to do it without the new inner axles is to machine the brackets and use non-ABS hubs which are found on 87-89 RRCs. I bought genuine inner axles from RN for $250 for the pair when they were on sale. Aftermarket are ~$400-500 depending on source. If your axle is old, the spline on the drive flanges and perhaps the axles may be worn so check before committing to the cheaper non-ABS hub route.

This RRC sounds like it would be good buy for Adrian/bossman - it sounds like he can fix the floors and other things but not have to worry about the mechanics.

At $1,500 I think this is a very nice buy and I am sure if Ron/Evilfij wanted to deal he could get a bunch more. If I didn't have a million things going on I'd scoop it up. I'm hoping Adrian grabs it so I can at least see it in person

BUMP

TPS replaced with used thanks to charles, now has a code 40 (maybe a 50 too) which I hope will clear and are just because of the TPS change.

Still $1500, I could not bring myself to part her out. I drove her to walmart and I was back in love, but I need the parking space.

Current miles 192k

Floor now "Ron good" in the front. Same price.

Check engine light went away as expected. Drove to work today (30miles) and she cruised fine at 85mph.

Down to $1200. Caliper on left front let go I think. Don't want to deal. I have rebuild stuff here if you want to rebuild it yourself. Caliper was new a few years ago.

Anyone willing to buy for parts and give me back the rear calipers, battery, alternator, and some of the ignition stuff (coil, ignition module some sensors) can have it for $800. Way more value in parts than $800.
