1995 Java Black Defender 90 ST

1995 Defender 90 Softtop (Java Black) for sale with the super hard to find Fastback setup and bikini top...both tops are in near perfect condition. The vehicle has 111,000 miles on the speedo...mosty highway miles. This truck is stock with no aftermarket mods. I recently had the vehicle professionally repainted ($3,000)...it looks fantastic! This Defender also has tons of cosmetic upgrades including the Brunel grille, headlight surrounds, and European headlight configuration never seen on our side of the pond. The truck has new tires with 90% of the tread remaining, air conditioning (works great), headlight guards, running boards, mud flaps, rear light guards, Euro style tire cover, roof rack, Blaupunkt CD/stereo with removable face plate, brushed steel bezel surrounds, and full body armour/diamond plating. I recently had part of the dashboad and front vent levers replaced ($900). The exhaust system is also brand new. I have put about $10,000 into this vehicle over the past couple of years and have maintained a meticulous service log. I have owned 3 Defenders over the past 11 years and this one is really sharp. This truck is a real head turner...even in Los Angeles. No accidents or dings. Email me if you are interested. I am asking $24,000 FIRM for the truck.

Darn it, Brian! I'm sorry to see you part with it. Its a beautiful truck.

I think you must be spending too much time in Cali.

p.s. -you had better go out and move it. -you're parked infront of a fire hydrant!

Best of luck

Rod

Hi Adam,

I had them all special ordered through a parts source of mine in the UK. However, you should be able to find the surrounds if you Google "Croytec."

Thanks for the compliment!

Where is the car now, LA? If so, what area do you live in? Thanks.

Hi Paul,

I live in Venice and work in the Marina. I will be around on Sunday if you would like to see it.

Thanks,
Brian

Not what you're looking for in terms of a response, but what exactly did you take off of your dash?

I'm in San Diego and have an MOD 110 with a pretty rough dash that i'm trying to clean up.

did you happen to hang on to what you took off?

is it junk?

Jack,

in the General section of this board there is a post regarding Southdown stuff. It has a link to Rovers North site. There is a instrument binnacle that is used for $20. Don't know if it is what you are looking for but worth a look.

Saw that one on RN.
I'm actually looking for the whole dash, not just the binnacle, but thanks.

Talking yakima rack

Did anyone ever find out what brackets were used to attach the roof rack?

Please do not hijack my post. If you have a question to ask me about where I purchased my roof rack, bezel surrounds, or anything else on my vehicle...SEND ME AN EMAIL OR PM! I know that some of you may be new to the boards. However, be respectful and courteous of others and you might...just maybe...find the answers to some of your questions

Thanks Rod! Good to hear from you. I was really sorry to hear about your dog. I hope to be back in Colorado by the winter...just miss the mountains so much. I am looking around for a 90 SW or 110, but I am having a hard time finding anything that is in decent condition or isn't priced through the roof. Keep your eyes and ears open for me.

I hope this note finds you well...

Brian

Is it listed anywhere else? I think most people still search on traderonline and cars.com
