I was in Moab for a week running trails with friends and one morning while I was out walking around the town I saw a guy washing his rock buggy and he had a Conistion Green D-90 in the garage. He said he didn't use it anymore and it was for sale. His name is Jim Molter and he is a retired Navy Master Chief in charge of maintenance. The truck is well maintained and would be a good buy for someone who wanted a fully kitted low mileage D-90. He didn't know about the D-90 Forum so I told him I would post the info and you can contact him directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
Price is $32,500
Here's the shortlist of equipment:
Dual Optimas with Isolator switch
Rockware front bumper
10,000# Warn winch with synthetic cable
MaxiDrive 4.3 to 1.00 low range gears in 110 T-case
HD springs all around with Rockware retainers in rear
Rockware rear trailing arms.
steering gear and gas tank skid plates
Rockware cat and frame skid plates
diff and pinion protectors
ARB lockers, front and rear
4:10 GBR ring and pinion gears
GBR heavy duty double cardon rear prop shaft
Ashcroft HD rear axles
custom rocksliders and rear bumperette/quarter panel protectors
PullPal and HiLift jack included
two rear mounted Tuffy boxes
I checked underneath and drove it and the only thing I noticed was a vibration at around 30+ miles per hour. Might be tires or maybe the very heavy duty GBR prop shaft. Underneath was clean and didn't look abused. He has a Suzuki Samurai/Toyota rock buggy for his offroad activities.
He had a huge stack of LR agazines that this rig has been in and it was on the cover on March, 1998 Land Rover World magazine.
