1995 Ex-MOD 110 300Tdi for Sale (Canada)
1995 Ex-Mod Land Rover Defender. Original LHD. 300Tdi diesel engine and matching R380 5-speed gearbox. Was a BATUS truck out of Suffield, AB. Anybody that knows these BATUS trucks knows they have pretty rough paint jobs. After lots of work, it certainly isn't perfect now but it is a hell of a lot better. Not going to win "Best in Show" but respectable and you are not going to worry about a bit of trail rash when you head out into the boonies.
Upgrades since I've owned it include- Proper Defender high-back seats. Galvanized door frames (all 3), bonnet frame and all cappings. Twin batteries with NOCO Genius GEN Mini 1 On-board Battery Charger. New VDO gauges (speedo, fuel, water temp, oil pressure). 2 block heaters. Dunlop Radial Rover 235/85R-16 tires x 5 (great tire and winter rated to boot) on galvanized rims. Aluminum front skid plate. Raised air intake. Land Rover waterproof seat covers. 3 12v accessory plugs. Centre seat with custom fitted shoulder belt and headrest.
Work completed/new parts within the last year- New timing belt, tensioner bearing, cam and crankshaft oil seals, water pump, serpentine belt and hoses, radiator, heater core and blower motor, clutch master cylinder, HELLA Vision Plus High Performance Headlamps c/w uprated headlight relay and wiring harness. Heavy duty battery cables. New brake rotors, pads and hub seals on all four corners just this week.
New rear suspension bushes and Ball Joint 45° Rear Suspension Upper Link not yet installed.
Driver and passenger side foot wells are rusting and will need patching a some point. It was on my to do list. Truck has manual steering but easy enough to upgrade to power steering with just a few parts. Chassis has one ding in it thanks to our friends in the military. Been like that since I've had the truck and has no negative impact on the vehicle at all.
Current mileage is 131214km but naturally that will go up some as I'm still driving the vehicle. I've had this 110 just shy of 10 years now. Very reluctant sale, but it needs to go. 110 is located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada so not likely not eligible for the US. Asking $20,500.
