1995 defender LHD 110 hicap pickup diesel 14,000 original miles

1995 LHD Defender 110 HiCap (high capacity) pickup 300TDI diesel motor with
5 speed transmission under 14,000 original miles on vehicle and drive train.
Located in East Texas. Factory installed R134a air conditioning, 4 wheel
disk brakes, coil suspension, power steering, all the great things you wish
your Land Rover had with all the capacity of the hicap bed to carry your loads. Titled and registered/ insured. Factory towing kit installed, fabric top and cage for the rear, NAS light kit and Speedometer in miles installed. Rust is not an issue on this vehicle. I find no traces of it in the normal locations (frame, lower bulkhead, doors, etc.), will take pictures of any area you wish. Cd player. This is not a rebuilt, but
factory original vehicle with under 14,000 miles on all parts (engine,
tranni, drive train, frame, suspension, etc) Drives at 70 Miles per hour
comfortably and up to 85 if necessary while maintaining 25 miles per gallon
(it will get in excess of 30 miles per gallon at slower speeds.) The
negatives are that the hood and right front fender are damaged, The grill is
the type that sticks out beyond the fenders (fiberglass) and I was not able
to find one of these so have adapted one of the other type, the AC and
blower motor don't work, and the blinkers don't work, small crack in the
front window, and the switches for the emergency blinkers are missing and a
few other little things like this. It drives well and I would not hesitate
to drive it anywhere (using hand signals in lieu of blinkers) It is for sale
as is for $22,000 OBO as is, or I will be fixing it up and then will sell it
for more. Contact
harrrding@juno.com for a package of more pictures and with
any questions.

Follow-up Post:

one thing to add. the speedometer shown is in kilometers and shows 21500 KM this is the original miles on the vehicle. This is 13,437 miles. I have a speedometer in MPH showing 14,500 miles and plan to put this in for ease of driving around here. Please send any interest or questions to my email or preferably to steve (harrrding@juno.com) rather then posting on this page as i visit seldom. william

grill surround

I have one of the fibreglass grill surrounds that is new/unpainted. I'm not going to use it- gladly sell it for $100 including shipping.

can you put a picture of the surround?

is it possible to put some pictures of the surround? I might be interested if it is the right one. this sticks out beyond the fenders about 2 inches to allow rome for the radiator electric fans for this style of airconditioning. I actually bought the one that is on there all the way from england where they assured me it was the right one for my vehicle and it is not the right one. thanks. william

more pictures

The blinker system is now repaired, continue to work on the issue spots. I think I have located the front grill fiberglass thanks to a fellow d-90 member, still waiting on pictures to make sure it is the right one. here are some more pictures.

What kind of service has this truck been in and how did it get the body damage? Seems to have had a hard life for only 14K miles.

body damage.

it was imported by the European Union to central america, drove 8000 miles in the first year and flipped over in an accident not involving annother vehicle. it was then held by the insurance company in storage untill I bought it. I unbolted the damaged body parts and replaced them with parts from a donar vehicle, but was unable to find some partl like the hood, front left fender, and grill surround for the factory air-contitioning (I think I have found this now due to a d-90 member). thanks for the interest, let me know if you want to come down and see it.

Artillary target?

she's certainly been around the block.... still, nothing a few weeks spannering wouldn't put right.

looks like some serious oil leaks around the sump too.... all over the chassis (flung off the propshaft?)

Unfortunately I think the year of this truck is hurting him, regardless of what he has it titled/registered as. You can import 1983 110's now legally, and spend less.

Item Sold.. thanks for the interest. I got more than asking price on Ebay. Seems there was more interest there.
